Got a question for those of you who are AJ savy. For preordered items , When the item comes in stock , does AJ automatically take the money out of the card that you have listed on there website , or do they email you and you have to log into your account and actually purchase it . Meg’s will be my first purchase from them and I’m not 100% sure how it works .

I use stands on the majority of my figures- big and small- either because I’m doing very dynamic poses or because they’re expensive and I don’t want to come home to a few hundred quids worth of plastic splattered across the floor. It gives me peace of mind and Hot Toys style bases really add a level of display quality for me.

So it’s not the necessity for a stand that bothers me, (even though I certainly agree Dinobot should have ankle ratchets or stiffer joints despite mine not showing any issues) it’s the stand TT chose to give us. I think it works with the vast majority of Transformers properties- but not Beast Wars- it just doesn’t suit the aesthetic in my eyes.

I’ll probably use a clear tamasshii stage act 4 or 5 stand on my Megatron even though he probably won’t need one in either mode. It won’t ‘stand’ a chance of supporting him in any jumping or running poses but, even if I’ve just got him standing menacingly, I can have it discreetly gripping his waist from behind for safety’s sake and rock solid stability.

    Side note :
I used to be so against stands due to finding them intrusive and ‘unnatural’ but since embracing them my displays have never looked better.
Give stands a chance, people. Just not TT’s stand. I can’t STAND it!

Stands definitely give me a new appreciation for my TFs, you can only put things in static poses so many times before repetition sinks in - I’m sure we’ve all seen the ‘A’ stance more than a couple times on our shelves haha.

Yeah me too, came at a very busy time for me and things haven't really let up, lol. I'll be in about 4 cities in the next few weeks, in 3 states, across the country. Then I head to Europe, lol.

That would explain the rust, and be karmic justice for what he did to Simmons. I didn't intend it to look like that is whats happening though haha, I was sort of going for that cartoony pre-dash/sprint pose for Dinobot and Bee happened to be on the table cause I bought him that day.

Oh damn, I fu**ed up? I'm sorry, english is not my main language and I've learned it by myself, so I suck at it :(
What would have been the correct form to use for that sentence?

    Hey buddy.

1st of all this is not a sarcastic post.

2nd thanks for learning English. You’re a star brother. I’m currently trying to become conversational in Korean to help my in-laws feel more comfortable when we go drinking together and it’s quite the challenge.

To correct your first statement “And I am still amazed by how many people find it hard to to understand this.” I believe the ‘it’ you missed is the ‘subject’ in the ‘object phrase’ of the sentence. And the ‘this’ should more specifically refer to your quoted message.

Your second post I quoted is basically free of all grammatical sins.

If you taught yourself English you should be quite proud. I’m completely serious. <3

    Till all are one.

No worries, I honestly prefer when people correct me, it's the fastest way to learn. ;)

Thank you guys and sorry for having turned this thread into a grammar lesson. But I really appreciate your words and help. :)

    @MarikZero

Basically the expression we use in English is 'find something hard to understand', rather than 'find hard to understand something'. It's also possible to say "find it hard to understand something", but that 'something' is usually a question word.
    Such as:
"I find long division hard to understand"
"I find it hard to understand how to carry the remainder"

'Find' is a transitive verb, which means it requires an object, in this case 'it', which should come immediately after the verb.

Adjectives can be followed by verbs in the infinitive, e.g. "easy to do", "difficult to learn", "happy to help", "sad to lose", but these adjective expressions need to come after the subject/object:
"this dance move is easy to do", "this grammar is difficult to learn".

If you want to place them before the subject, you need to hyphenate them:
"This is an easy-to-do dance move."
This sounds natural enough. But this:
    "This is difficult-to-learn grammar"
    Not so much!

In your sentence the subject is 'it', so it should come before this expression. :thumb

I must say, the paint job on MP-43 looks so damn shiny and iridescent. It's really impressive, essentially all of the Beast Wars MPs have tampographs all over their body. They typically use tampographs for insignia, or a little bit more extensively on the likes of MP-36+ to replicate those toy-accurate stickers. But the BW MPs seem to be covered all over using that technique. Awesome.

Heh, to be honest my mind rearranged your words into the correct order before it had a chance to notice it was wrong! Your posts have always come across as very well written, grammatically correct and like those of a native english speaker, so props for having me fooled all this time!

To add to this, up until they actually charge your card, you have the opportunity to change which card you're paying with, and can also apply gift card balances.

Definitely don’t be so hard on yourself. I understood what you meant . These days , autocorrect is the biggest offender at turning our sentences into gibberish.
