THF right? If so, how securely do the red hinges in the shoulder area stay pegged into the body?

 

Mine are good. The blue piece the hinge is on is more likely to come undone first.

At least that seems to be fixable according to this video review (see at the 5:20 mark).
There isn't a fix for the red hinge though.

 

I'm considering replacing my KFC with the THF Magnus (LOVE my THF Megs).
Any pros/cons from those that have (or had) both?

Also, has anyone done a custom replacing the partial cab/bot (of white prime), with a FULL ON Transformable White Prime?
Is it even possible (minus an almost complete scratch build)???

mine stay in fine. at the same time i dont touch him much so everything thats was super stiff and tight new, is still that way.. transformed once... the blue panels will pop out easy but those blue panel pins are tight as on mine. so the panel doesnt really move much at all once they do pop from that tab. also, i will be adding that fix eventually though. perhaps a lil nail polish.

 

I've had a couple go through my hands.

The first one I had was 10/10 top notch with everything tight and firm - great paint nice and crisp. Some of the other versions I've handled since have been more prone to joints popping out, paint over-spray, etc. I do hope that it's just an isolated incident as I have a couple more on the way. I have the original MP22 + the x2Toys Shoulder and gun upgrade kit. It does the job very well. I think it's great THF included it, just wish their connections were a little bit tighter...

 

Nope there's no Delta Magnus KO let alone one without the buttflap.

I guess his anus will continue to be protected thanks to the butt flap.

 

Also the leg ratchets on Takara's MP Delta Magnus are pretty strong and tight. Not sure why Takara's MP ultra Magnus wasn't made that way.

 

Got mine finally today and Imloving this thing, my first set of words with it would made a porn actress blush. "Oh lord he is so huge" "Look at the size of it" "It towers over everyone". The joints are ok, he can hold a pose, cant do the kick like the box shows but thats mostly due to its weight. I think I can do repetitions with this thing. Ordered the upgraded hands because why not? this deserves it. Im so happy I got this guy, is ridiculous. And I dont know why I cant stop imagin the voice of Patrick Warburton commingout of this thing.

You'll have to read the descriptions in the listings. KO will be mentioned the description. Otherwise if it isn't and it is at the similar low price then it is likely a genuine factory, box-less but complete bulk copy.

 

Interesting. Depending on cost I'd take the loose Takara version any day. All of mine are much better than the KOs I traded up from

 

How was the Magnus KO compared to the official? I've been waiting for THF to do use their KO for Delta mostly due to the hit or miss quality on the newer KOs. This guy looks good though and priced decently enough that I may pick him up on a whim.

 

I haven't really heard any complaints about the straight up MP-22 KO. Personally I don't have it. I have the official Takara MP-22, THF KO MP-22, and official MP-31 Delta Magnus.
Although THF KO MP-22 eliminates the butt flap and has leg ratchets it has other areas of weakness, at least from my personal experience. For instance the red plastic hinge on the left arm doesn't snap in place to the body securely to the body. As a result the arm falls out of place rather easily. As a result I prefer the official MP-22 over the THF KO.
If were to go the KO route all over again for this mold, I'd go for the straight up Takara KO.

 

Cool, thanks! I know the Inferno mold ones weren't very good but I couldn't remember the word on the Magnus one.

 

Anyone else encountered this problem with their THF Hyper Magnum?

The two plates that join at the top of the trailer in Alt mode have the pin and the hole in the same spot on both sides so I cannot press them together.

My supplier has had no luck with THF in sorting this out for months now.
