Loved it and can’t wait for season 2

 

We just finished this up last night, and it was great. Good cast all around, but Klaus was easily my favorite. I'm a little disappointed that the ending is mostly a set-up for the next season, but I get it and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

 

Finish 4 episodes and I don't know if I'm watching the same show as you guys but it is boring as fuck, typical Netflix bullshit.

 

After watching episode 9, no way in hell she did all her own stunts...and she can't act either.

Finished it last night and it's really good and I'm dying to know what happens next.

 

So tell me, does The White Violin actually become white at the end of the season?

 

She definitely turned goth.   Vanya's suit turning white is a good compromise since I doubt the whole superhero skintight bodysuit would've worked or made sense in her character's context here.

Just finished this season and it was great. Looking forward to more in season 2 and the time travel shenanigans!

Of all the characters, I think I liked Five the most. His actor did a great job for his age.

Klaus had his entertaining moments but he annoyed me almost as much as he made me chuckle with his antics. I think his Vietnam arc humanized him where I could sympathize with him better. His thing with Ben was cool too though I'm still slightly salty that they killed off the Asian guy (still curious about the circumstances of his death though).

 

Just started it. Yeah it is good so far. Fun weirdness, weird characters, interesting story. Istanbul by They Might Be Giants was an unusual song for a fight scene but it was awesome. Loved the dancing to Think We're Alone Now shot where it was like a doll house and you saw everyone.

I couldn't get into Legion that much because it was too much of a head trip. This is got some great visual like that, but easy to follow.

 

Is it me or does Number 5 look like a young Joseph Gordon Levitt? Some of the shots of him make me think of him back on 3rd Rock from the Sun or Angels in the Outfield. Like when he is drunk and passed out in Diego's bed.

 

Well the Asian guy was dead at the start of the comic too, but he wasn’t Asian in the comic.

 

On ep 8 or 9 right now. Damn this is good. Love the blood transfusion scene. Diego, the man who throws knives, faints at a needle.

 

The songs they put through this season at key scenes are all spot on and make it better. I can't wait for the second season and hope they get more episodes.

 

Some feel like they should not work (Istanbul for the example) but do!

 

My wife and I finished it a week or so ago. Ben and Klaus are easily the standouts, as far as the cast go. Ellen Page and John Magaro were weak links, in my opinion. I've never found Ellen Page to be particularly talented, in any role, to be honest. I don't know what to expect from the second season, since I have no background on the story and, while it would be a shame to see the rest of the cast from season one take a back seat, I think it would also be a bold decision to use a younger set of actors, given the circumstances around the finale.

 

Actually thought Page was a great choice given her character's mental state throughout the first half of the season. Honestly how I would expect her to act in real life for some reason.

Klaus, Five, and Hazel were my top 3.

 

Not for me, as the actor they hired played the a very similar character with (eventually) a nearly identical power on Misfits. When ever Klaus is on screen I can't stop wondering if that wasn't an accident.
