That's assuming they charge full price for the set. Hasbro has been know to charge less than the combine MSRP for some gift sets.

well the prime wars sets were priced at 24.99 and included a 16.99 deluxe and a 6.99 prime master. That's $23.98 so hasbro was charging a bit more for the sets from last year.

They also have "premium" packaging and were a limited run. Those two thing I think account for the extra cost.

No argument with that but we have no clue as to the run size for these exclusives and the packaging cost isn't as huge as we would expect

I wonder if these will be Hasbro Pulse Exclusives?

Yes, those. The ones that weren't frontpaged. If they were, then I missed them but I hit the front page multiple times daily.

If you do some "I hope they all have the same kind of markup" math on the leaked listings, the best guess is Skywarp will come with a micromaster pair. Now, that's a titchy assumption, sure, but the leaked price seems to suggest whatever Skywarp comes with will be smaller than a deluxe.

I'm pretty sure they weren't frontpaged, and were quickly buried in the recent thread list too.

I wonder when we will actually get information from Hasbro on this 35th line, maybe around the ballpark of 28 days?

Damn you Hasbro!, I did $300 in siege preorders and thought I was going to be done with Transformers for at least a year. Then you talk about a Bluestreak....

    1.) what's in 28 days?
2.) Do we really need a separate 35th anniversary line? Seige is already celebrating G1 as is the MP line. I could see a couple of one off special releases for big characters, but a whole line dedicated to the 35th? No way

Australia Toy fair is coming up in Early March, but I doubt we will see these there. Power of the primes Inferno, Cindersaur and Outback were revealed last year at Australia Toy fair. If we see anything revealed from siege there it will most likely be Barricade, Off-road Patrol, Sports car Patrol or Leader Astrotrain.

It’s not a whole separate line, the 4 boxes shown still had wfc siege branding so it’s technically a subline

Lets go ahead and assume that the entire brand gets celebrated with a 35th anniversary line. Galaxy Convoy is one good example, and it may be a way to get BW MPs in as well. I'm personally hoping a 35th line means older molds being used occasionally.

It would be nice to get representation across the different series rather than G1 ad nauseum.

I think there is less flexibility (and frankly, room, for more releases) with the MP line, given the large queue of releases that have yet to be released.

The use of older molds, like with the recent Encore release of Big Convoy would be great, IMO. It would give many an opportunity to pick up classic molds and would theoretically be a less expensive way for TT to celebrate prior series since no R&D would really be needed.

Don't forget Ectotron, he also had 35th branding.

yep, so it seems to be a subline that spans multiple other lines
