Very true. Those who are unhappy tend to be alot more vocal than those who are happy/satisfied.

I remember siege-lobbyists making all kinds of claims that the qc in this line was on another level entirely.
I see threads about siege qc issues all over the place.

Mine had excessive glue on the waist but I gently pried it apart with a knife. No issues now.

Mine has the same issue... I need to figure out where exactly to shave down, but I'll have to do that down the road.

The copy I got from Amazon had no glued hip issue. Mine just has the issue in tank mode where I need to cut down the plastic parts to make tank mode fit together better though.

Mine's fine, but I'm gonna do the tank fix, that's an engineering problem, not a qc one.

The crotch piece falling off is easy to fix. Just superglue it into place. The hips on the other hand, you almost certainly need to exchange/return the figure.

I don't have any issues with mine that i can see or remember if there is any. I have had them for some time and played around with them enough and no problems to report.

I just got Skytread last night, he had no glue on his hips nor a loose waist. The only QC issues I had with him were the main gun for the tank not wanting to stay pegged in (the hip socket seems to get in the way) and the tops of the tank turret not wanting to snap in, which seems to be the norm for this guy, going off other pics.

The QC issues in the Feedback thread for Siege Flywheels seem to be at epidemic level. But, this thread has proved that those hip/leg issues are extremely isolated

I think all the glue that was supposed to hold the crouch plate on went down into the left hip joint on mine, as both the hip was seized and the front plate popped off. I was able to wrap the peg with a piece of shop towel and put a pair of needle nose pliers on the peg and break it loose with a twist...no damage. Then a little dab of superglue on a tooth pick to reattach the crotch plate

As of right now, only roughly 12% have the crotch/leg/hip QC issues. Not bad.

And proves you can't always trust the Feedback threads for accurate tallies on the prevalence of QC issues. Chances are, what seems like an epidemic QC-wise most likely isn't.

    Could I put in other?

With my figures the tolerances are off so things don't tab in too well. This happens on planes hands folding in, and on the legs tabbing together to make the tank.

To me, this reminds me of the figure not necessarily being molded correctly for the final plastic used. You can tell they are using different plastic then before. When the plastic is setting, it's too thick. Hence the tolerances being off. I have seen this in 3rd Party figures in the past.

Maybe I am late to this, but was that solely for that issue? I mean it's clear the figure has other QC issues / design flaws. So I think it depends. In addition, some easily over look QC and design flaws, others are bothered by it.

For me, it's good to know the pro's and con's and then the people can know and decide for themselves.

Mine is ok, just need to shave off that bit of plastic thats keeping the tank mode from tabbing in properly.

You're right. There were probably other small QC issues here and there.

But judging from the feedback in the dedicated feedback thread as well as elsewhere, the hip issue described in this thread was by far the most prevalent issue talked about.
