Kudos to @pilot00 for figuring out something so simple that after I did it I was like DOH! I am lame! Loosen the thigh pieces.   

 

Oh that one? Got confused there for a second. Yeah I was about to start filling at first too, then I saw the screws and I thought.....maybeeee......But yeah they overdid it with the screws in several places.

 

Ordered mine from ShowZstore. I know it's the weekend but no update after purchase. For anyone that has used ShowZ, how long does it take to ship and do they email you a shipping notice and tracking number?

Is there any difference between the shade of purple on the original release and that of the metallic one? Other than the purple of the the disco-drum, of course  

 

Check the previous page. Pretty sure Junk posted a brief review. I believe he said there was no difference in the shade of green, and it looked to be the same green plastic used for his V1 Constructor.

 

Is it the piece under longhaul neck?
It should cover the gap when the head is folded but it keeps popping out on mine (not the worst QC issue of my copy...)

Yeah the v1 is bluish, this one is....purplish

I only have V1 set and the add-on kit which is using V2 plastic, V2 plastic is a lighter green, not obvious but you can tell the difference when you see it.

 

That actually helps, thanks! I had hoped I could obtain the regular non-chromed purple barrel that was released separately for the first version of Concrete, and use that on the metallic release, but as the shades of purple are different... I might be forced to repaint all the purple parts, including the chromed barrel.

 

Just FYI, it also has chrome on the pistons and certain areas on the constructicon bodies akin to the g1 toys. Also the faces are a shade of grey.

 

Ordered the metallic one. Have the yellow. Need to convince myself I don’t need the black one

 

Long story short, this is the version that was promoted on the original V1 Photos from back in October 2015. That was when the original photos depicting each individual toy containing Red Windows, red translucent parts and chrome parts originally surfaced on various Etailer sites. It only took 12 Constructor repaints to make the original concept version of the team to finally happen.

I find it hilarious to be honest.

While waiting for the Dirty Old Green to be produced, I had an ambitious idea: to make a model of the top of the skyscraper that appears on the episode "City of Steel". I would love to represent the moment when Devastator is like King Kong on top of the Empire State Building.

I never made something like that, but I have all the time to think over about how to do.
I think that Constructor deserves a special treatment. With all due respect, I really hate to see all these beautiful models posed on so many wretched backgrounds!
