The thing that ruined AoE for me was Cade’s annoying overly obsessed with his daughter’s sexuality shtick. Doesn’t help that I hate Walhberg as well.
The Chinese pandering in the film was insane as well, especially when they have Hong Kong beg for the mainland’s help.

Anyway, they treated the bots as actual characters better than in the previous 3 films, so that was a plus I guess.

Anyone else having issues with Studio Series Barricade? I've watched Emgo's transformation review but I can't get the back end to sit flush in vehicle mode. Also, the ball joint that holds the hood on (which some some reason is made from brittle translucent plastic?! nice one hasbro), had a huge crack on it, and I can't see it lasting very long at all. I don't mind having to pay £22 for a deluxe figure, as long as the quality doesn't drop. But barricade isn't really impressing me so far.

 

AOE gets the most hate from me because TLK isn't even worth my time, but I can see how AOE COULD have been good. However it's just not. It's actually infuriating to me especially with how terrible the editing is. Also, the product placement is insulting to my brain and I hate everything about the KSI robots being made of flying legos. I mean, it wasn't even a bad story idea! But then they made them flying legos.

Whoa looks great! However I need to see how he looks from the back too, hehe.

Clever way to have it look like Jazz is split without waiting for the MPM haha! I might have to replicate that at some point.

I love this alt mode! Yeah the beard pieces showing on the bottom aren't great, but it's still beautiful and well done. And I haven't even combined him yet!

So today is my birthday and I decided to treat myself by opening up SS Barricade. Funnily enough, I remember opening MPM Barricade on my birthday LAST year so having the studio series version in my hands exactly after 1 year seems ironic haha. If I buy MPM Megatron in, let's say August, does that mean movie 1 SS Megatron will be released in August 2020?!?! Anyway, pics!

LOL I thought you got 2 Barricades in the second pic, it took me a while to realise it was actually the MPM. It's crazy how similar they look, and even crazier considering the SS costs like 1/5th the MPM. Nice pics!
