Well, many of us have had success with the Toyhax versions of one or another kind. They are good quality, and they handle like the older toy stickers. That said, the waterslide decals from Ocean are really nice, but they are more expensive.

 

If anyone heeds the upgrade grinder X version toon head, Ii have one sealed in the my sales thread. FYI

 

Got my Grinder and Sever in and Wow very impressed. Who would I get contact with at Fanstoys to get a replacement sword for Grinder? As the button for the led does not work correctly.

New Grinder dino head came today.
It look a lot better in dino mode now.
Although i think Fanstoys should just give us the head for free instead of charging another 20 bucks.
Still happy.

 

OK, as it's unlikely that FT will reissue the lot of these, and Grimlock is the leader, I had been thinking of nabbing Grinder, and replacing my MP Grimlock with him.

IE: if I have to have only one, it might as well be Grimlock.

Those that have had both, outside of size, what are the real essential elements that makes it possibly worth getting Grinder over MP?

 

My Mp grimlock was a floppy mess. I prefer how bulky and imposing Grinder looks.

 

I too started with FT Grinder…

…And now I have all five FansToys Dibots. I couldn't be happier with that decision.

FT Grinder has a heft and presence that just overwhelms the Takara Grimlock. And keep the faith with FansToys re-issues. It takes time, but they have a proven track record of listening to what collectors want/need. (I had to wait for the Stomp re-issue)

 

I like Grinder and he's my MP Grimlock...but honestly, if fixing the size issue isn't a big enough motivational factor...I think MP-8 is just fine if his size doesn't bother you.

 

I have a pair of elevator shoes for MP Grimlock if anyone needs them.

 

I just got the email that said BBTS won't be able to supply the G2 Grinder that I pre-ordered. I'm not happy about it... I hope that Fans Toys reissues him!

 

That stinks. I stared at that G2 pre-order product page for a week straight and even sent them an email to ask if it was legit. (They said it was.) And I was relieved when it was finally sold out. I knew if I bought it, I'd have to scoop up the other two G2 dinobots and it's just too much mullah with all the other stuff I have to pick up.

Sadly I doubt a reissue is on the cards given how long it took to sell the first wave and that I think the X D and G2 were all limited runs
