Edit: oh hey, any recommends for getting Autobot and Decepticon logo decals for customizing? Just ebay?

Secret Walmart had the latest ss dlx wave...sideswipe, barricade, army bee...
They had 2 each of siege optimus and megatron .
There was also one lonely $50 G1 Optimus cab in a jacked up box.

First load of stuff from Pulse!

Haven't gotten to combine Jetfire and Prime yet, but they're both pretty cool. I like that new Prime has enough new stuff going on that he doesn't feel stale. Somewhat finnicky transformation, but pretty good overall.

Bonecrusher is a lot of fun to transform. Some neat stuff going on, and it's cool he's not just a straight re-hash of his original deluxe, though there are a lot of shared elements but better? His bot mode looks great. His vehicle mode is kinda gappy.

Jertfire is awesome. Doesn't peg together the best in jet mode, but it's pretty unnoticable. Megs has a fun transformation, but he's pretty floppy, made of a lot of soft materials, and has a weird gap on the back of his truck cab in truck mode. Also: They shoulda just done a rubber cape ala the original. The cloth works OKAY, but it just doesn't fit RIGHT. Maybe it'll break in with more play.

Anyway, they're all fun! Studio series does a lot of cool stuff, and all these guys have just the right amount of transformation complexity, IMO. Also getting the leaders for cheap on Pulse was nice too. XD

    LOL

When you mentioned Jetfire, I thought at first you meant "SIEGE" Jetfire and was all..."He's already out!?"

A lot of the SS stuff looks good, but I need to kinda reduce my spending a bit here. Especially after the Siege and Marvel Legends reveals at Toy Fair...lots of figures I want there.

So I haven't handled the new megatron, and I have no idea what his cloak is made out of, but you could try getting it wet, and then while it's wet lay it over the figure the way you like it...it might conform a little better when it dries.

That's a good idea! The cape itself is cloth for sure, but I don't know enough about textiles to say more than that. Uh... low thread count? Kinda rough? A little patterned, actually. Do you worry about the moisture causing any sort of trouble with the metal pins, even if it's only a little damp for a little bit?

Personally, nah I wouldn't worry. Kids probably play with these in the bathtub lol.

    BuT tHeSe ArE fOr ColLeCtErS!

That said, threw together jetfire prime earlier... aside from his giant overcompensation cannon, he's pretty cool. Surprisingly articulated for a prime in a buncha armor since there's nothing that really inhibits the joints. I can't really get the backpack on mine to fit tight, but I think I might be doing something wrong. The canon would be cooler if there was some place you could put Jetfire's arms (since Jetfire's entire upper torso is the gun), but even without that, he's fun. I feel like you can do a lot more with him than the old one, but it's less imposing and you just have a big ol' hunk of Jetfire for a gun that he can barely hold. Maybe the DotM prime will work better with this guy? Still, I like him. He's fun and not so huge that he doesn't fit anywhere.

EDIT: I just figured the backpack. There are tiny, TINY little panes that hide in OP's front wheel wells that fold out and tab into the Jetfire pack to make it hold in place. WEIRD, but it works!

Just sat down and combined RiD Omega Prime and whatever the monstrosity that is Armada Prime/Jetfire/Overload for the first time in...a decade.

Starting to get the thirst for more Primes wearing other dudes' corpses as armor.

So I grabbed a Jetfire for T-hybrid earlier, but he broke pulse and had one show up today for some reason. I'm planning on returning my extra to Target unless someone else would like it for $53.68. PM me if you're interested.

Did anyone else with Jetfire ignore the instructions and go find a review video?

Benscollectables walked through his transformation and it made *way* more sense than the sheet.

(This is one sexy jet mode.)

I got him as well. Really, really great. Quality is excellent, transformation clean and smooth. I don't have any other legends cars from Magic Square or anything; I take it Harry is smaller than those?

If anyone is in the Foley/St. Cloud/Sartell/Monticello area, can anyone inform me of what figures are at the stores (like Target, Shopko, or Walmart) in the following series: War for Cybertron: Siege or Studio Series Bumblebee movie Bumblebee (vw Beetle) and Optimus Prime (also Bee movie) I’m a G1/G1 style, Beast Wars/Machines, TFA, Aligened, (not RID ‘15, just WFC/FOC and Prime) collector. Thank you in advance.

For anyone interested, today is the last day for Free Shipping at Hasbro Pulse. It's also the final day to order *anything* on the site and get automatically signed up for a free year of Pulse Premium (which includes Free Shipping).

Pre-orders count, and if you already placed one but aren't sure if you're signed-up for promotional emails go here:

    upload_2019-2-25_9-57-58.png

    Happy shopping.

    ---

Also, not sure if this is getting traction quite yet...but I saw it mentioned a few place and apparently there's a conversation in the Ohio thread about Jetfire's torso hinge:
Anybody with Jetfire take a look? I've only transformed mine to jet and back, but I know a few of you have both him *and* Prime so would have done the combo by now.
