Interesting. I don't particularly hate this Prime design, but definitely doesn't look as heroic as design we see in the film. This one is a bit messier too.

Are you talking about Voyager Bee Movie Prime? Then yes, few people have gotten it already and shared them in this thread. Pre-orders went up on Hasbro Pulse and Amazon yesterday.

That Optimus, despite haveing more blocky features then the used design, feels more like the Bayverse Optimus design. I think its the proportions.

Prime in picture and in movie both look good but movie version looks better that big crest on his forehead sticks up to much lol like sharks dorsal fin

Bit messier as is not blocky LEGO enough of g1 design that what you talking about?

Oh boy g1 war may begin with people who prefer prime look more g1 style

 

There are quite a bit of metal parts sticking out in various places, unlike the more streamlined design we see in the film. I also don't like how you can see all that garbage behind his chest windows. But yes, I do like the "blocky LEGO" look of g1 designs if that's what you want to call it.

The Optimus concept looks decent, except the head. The shape of it just seems odd.

 

I actually prefer this Optimus design to the one in the movie, with the exception of the head. The arms and shoulders look nearly identical to me. In fact, in my opinion, I feel like the movie design looks good as a Cybertronian mode while this looks better as an Earth mode

I wanna see concept art for ALL the characters in the movie! (Esp Shockwave/Soundwave heh heh!)

 

Same man! I wanna see what the toys/earth modes would look like! Especially arcee. Having all the Cybertron concept bots as a complete line up would be incredible.

 

That's a horrible take on a more G1 style movie Optimus. Spindly.
