You should have seen it around here when Animated was cancelled.

You should probably celebrate the new universe that is to come, not to be happy about the end of something. As I said it's entertaintment, and hence the name it was never meant for stuff like that..now that it's over fans should really give it a rest and focus on what they actually do enjoy rather than shout "the witch is dead" all day from now on and even have that as their ringtone.Sure,I'm not happy but Bumblebee gets my blessing to continue with as long as it brings something new to the table but if it doesn't go that way I'm not gonna be obssesed with it's end,As sad as I'll be I'll probably still see it and discuss the positive stuff about it.

And Animated had all it's threats eliminated. Not dead but you know..out of the way at least for then and it felt like an ending actually and this comes from someone who was never a fan of Animated.

You know, Animated is one of those shows that won me over with it's superb writing and excellent voice acting despite an art direction and animation style that made my stomach turn.

Just realised we've not seen anything from the main Bumblebee line. I guess that means we've seen everything that's coming out. Still surprised there are so many Camaro Bees and not one Jeep version. Also Surprised the one step Bee and Optimus Takara released haven't been released by Hasbro.

It's been less than 24 hours since the news broke that Bayverse is dead, and we've put up with this shit for 11 years, and you've put up with the movies getting shit on for 11 years. Stop acting like we've been crowing about the death of the bayverse for ages when it's been less than a whole freakin' day!

If you legit can't handle people being happy about this, then go and take a break from the website like so many of your compatriots have until the fervor dies down. The end of the Bayverse was inevitable and to pretend that it isn't okay for people to be happy about something ending just because it means your beloved movieverse is at the short end of the stick? Tough shit.

So shitting on something is okay because it happened a lot and everyone is used to it..cool..if that's how you think.I was just saying fans should focus on celebrating this new universe that they waited for so long rather than focusing on celebrating for the failure of something they didn't like..at least now at the end but I'm sorry I ever said something..as this is no place for that,I didn't want to spark another argument but I guess conflict can't be avoided either way.You probably think we're acting aggressive..now I can't talk for all of us but I can never insult something because I don't enjoy it,I'll just say what I didn't like like an opinion not just trash talk...maybe a couple of jokes but that's it..especially when it just ended and I can't spend all my energy hating something, there are other ways..it's entertaintment man for Primus's sake!I'll express my regret for the end of the series but that's it..regret is not hate or anything no matter how deep it is.If it's different enough I might even support this series maybe even nearly as much as the previous..who knows.I just wish people would focus on the beginning of the stuff they love more than the end of what they hated because it's not worth it..if the hate was here for 11 years it doesn't mean it must go on..I don't quite undertand that stuff but oh well..

Holy moly! I leave for a while and I come back on here and I see the same ol' fierce debates of "I'm right! You're wrong!". Seriously folks?

In other news, I've yet to see Bumblebee- probably won't ever - but if it's a reboot for the franchise then I guess it is time for a shift in gears.

Except we know nothing about this 'new universe' beyond the fact Bumblebee is in it. And wild speculation will come in time but the fact is, this has been something people have been wanting for ages and trying to shut down people celebrating the aspect of it you hate the most is an exercise in futility. This isn't even the first time it's happened, either, in so far as celebrating the end of something - it's actually been one full year since the news that the reset was happening following Bumblebee, so this isn't even new news technically, just the official confirmation.

All you are doing is coming in and raining on everybody's parade because you think it isn't okay for people to keep shitting on the films...despite the fact people have been shitting on the films since day 1. People were asking for a reboot an they finally got it, so of course there's going to be proclamations of joy in the way that can only be expressed on an online forum.

You should have seen the lovely message I got from another member telling me to fuck off half a dozen times because I dared speak ill of Ratchet's demise in AoE...before we even knew it was how he died, and it wasn't even an attack on anybody.

Plus, like I said, if you just can't stand being around people celebrating the demise of one of the most hated incarnations of the brand, then just remove yourself from here for a while. You claim you don't have the energy to keep on hating when at the same time you sure have enough to keep coming back to make comments about how much you don't like people doing virtually the same thing they've been doing for the past 11+ years.

Welcome to the internet, where grudges last forever.

So what did we see this weekend that we didn’t see before?

Ectotron? The 35th anniversary figures (of which we physically saw Soundblaster). We saw a slew the week before, but anything else? Everything either got leaked by unofficial or official sources.

I mean, if you want to keep being pathetic and petty that's on you. "Yay, something a portion of my fandom loved is dead and I get to dance on its corpse and tell them how shitty it was!"

    Grow up.

With the Transformers movies I was hoping for a Lord of the Rings quality adaptation. (I was actually expecting it. Peter Jackson's trilogy proved a seemingly impossible dream could come true) There was a wealth of great Transformers stories and characters just begging to be bought to the big screen and there were plenty of great writers out there. It could be done. I wasn't expecting an exact copy of G1, and the new designs looked interesting (though I had reservations about some of them).

I walked out of the first movie wondering what the **** I'd just watched. This was an official Transformers movie where they even somehow managed to mistake Brawl for Devastator (I'm not going into the rest of it). I actually expected an Extended Edition to explain the various discrepancies.

Of course, the writers eventually (after the fourth movie, I believe) admitted they actually never gave a f*** about the story. It was only because of the Marvel movieverse that someone realised that there should be more to a Transformers movie than giant robots and explosions.

With the Bay movies, it's like seeing an abused individual who had great potential, but wasn't really given a chance. There were moments of brilliance, and there was often hope that things would get better, which generally turned out to be false - and the 'carers' kept jumping up and down on the bed thinking he just needed cheering up. Eventually, those in charge decided to switch off the life support machine.

With Animated, I planned to skip the series until something less 'kiddie' came along. I mean, come on, rookie Optimus, motorbike Prowl, big dumb Bulkhead - what were those guys thinking?

I watched the first episode out of boredom, and I was hooked. Brilliant characters, great writing and dialogue, great character development. It was everything the movies weren't. And then it was gone.

In contrast to the movies, it was like seeing a wonderful, clever, talented prodigy suddenly die too young. Or more accurately, was murdered by the higher ups in favour of another protege.

Okay, that's maybe a bit overdramatic. Maybe. Also, IMO.

    Yeah but....but....

    So...
How is "Bayverse" dead when Bay is still involved?
How does BB constitute a "reboot" when its the same clowns that are producing it?
