Hahah, you’re braver than I! I can’t remember if you’ve also sold your OG seekers?

I think he went cold turkey period. I sold off the Datsuns, seekers and Soundwave , as I was pretty sure they were getting plussed or remade. Did get blindsided by Bee, I didn't see him as the next redo.

Welp! I need to get in gear and start offloading.

My Soundwave and cassettes have seen better days - faded chrome on Soundwave and cracking wings on the birds, not sure anyone would take them off my hands hahah.

Weren't you whining about people repeating the same statement again and again? Or your own rule doesn't apply to yourself

Holy shite!!! I can't believe how much better Bee looks in these Toy Fair photos!! Most of my issues are gone! The back pack is the only thing that's still not ideal, but the face looks waaay better in this lighting and the dark line in the mouth helps soooo much(I hope it gets that on the paint process), the feet aren't as long as they appeared in Takaras photos. He generally looks/feels better and closer to what I imagined when I first heard the news. Gotta be a way to clean up that back pack though.

Dude, Takara should fire their photographers! I've been saying this for years. They make so many figures look terrible. I remember the photography for Ironhide, the awful posing and the weird angles.

These crappy flash photography photos single handedly would have sold me on MP-45. Because these are closer to how we will experience the toy in-hand. I think Takara is using a wide angle lens which distorts the objective proportions of the actual toy.

Dang it, I think I might order a few more! I have multiples of MP-21 and all the variants. So happy to see these Toy Fair photos!

the equipment from takara is usually produces washed light , not sure about the rig. they are good at posing most of their figures unlike hasbro but sometimes the figures are not in their best state.
But currently those shots from takara are normally standard.

Shows really aren't that great for color reveals. Often the lighting washes out details and faces tend to look soft. The pose itself wasn't a bad one, but that was the first time we had saw Bee, a lot of the angles from twitter weren't very flattering.

Is it just me or does Bee's backpack look a bit better compressed on the video of the TT guys playing with MP-44? Look around the 1:20 mark. Maybe someone adjusted it a bit, or could just be the blurry video?

    Which video?

    EDIT: You mean this one:

The backpack is the same there as in the other Toy Fair shots posted above, but I think it just doesn't look quite as bad when you see BB relative to the other 'bots, and how small he is.

Totally man. I mean, if it’s working for you and others, I can’t be mad at that. Personally, I just feel disappointed because I really want to love this figure. I guess I had my expectations set really high, but felt Takara dropped the chance of releasing a Bee 2.0 that a majority of fans would love. So far, it seems quite the opposite, and I hope Takara hears us fans.

However, my opinion might change once I have it in hand. Fingers crossed.

I'm warming to MP-45 a little bit, but I can't pretend the backpack and foot kibble are great. People will probably figure out fanmodes for folding up the back and foot panels that make them happy though.

Mp44 doesn't seem very sturdy in that vid. Maybe the tolerances havent been tightened enough yet.
