I apologize if I had anything to do with misleading you into thinking this is a perfect figure. It's not, and I've clearly stated that several times, but I know my gushing for this figure has gone overboard at times. Mine does indeed have sprue marks and the plastic is toonishly dull, and it might not wow and impress everyone the same way.

I should clarify, I don't equate heft with quality. I've found super hollow CW figures to be high quality while others have mocked the figure in question and me, myself, for having such an opinion. I personally found it to be a genuinely high-quality figure, right out of the package. Compared to some of the official MPs I had owned as of late, there's no comparison... He's leaps and bounds better than they are, heft or no. There's definitely quality, period. For example, I accidentally bent one of the antennae and I thought it was all over. I ran it under hot water (used a Keurig) and it was straightened back up. I was fortunate. I can honestly tell you that wouldn't have been the same outcome for an official one.

If you don't like it, that's fine, you have that right. Sell it and get the one you do want, find what makes you happy.

Yup, these choices/preferences are definitely an each to their own thing, lol. Like what you like, as you said. I don't dislike this guy- he simply doesn't live up to some of the excitement for me personally is all. He is still a good figure.

Maybe someone can be nice enough to let you borrow theirs to measure. I do it but I don't own a copy of the figure.

Hey brother, is it possible to make covers for his leg sliders? If so will you be making them?

    Best Regards,

Possibly. Putting him out on the shelf with Magic Square and MP-10 to see how he settles with me, lol.

Does anyone else have a looser left elbow? My right one is a bit tighter
I’ve tried to tighten it but the screw wouldn’t do much

Does anyone know what paint to use to color match the silver on the bumper, off white on the thighs and blue on the diecast foot?

I think the left toe on mine was either a bit loose from the get go or got loose soon after I got it. I thought that was normal until I saw mentions here about loose toe. It hasn't been an issue with posing or anything so I don't think I'm going to bother trying to tighten it. If it somehow gets worse then something might have to be done.

I have investigated trying to tighten it. There's a screw, or possibly a flat push pin, can't really tell since the foot cover cannot be lifted out of the way. The problem resides with the foot cover itself, it has a pin that's holding it on. But by design is seems, the pin is only driven through one side of the cover, and doesn't go through to the other side. Which makes it near impossible to drive the pin out, short of drilling some plastic...

Of course, I would love to be proven wrong here.

Slightly disappointed that EmGo chose to go with Magic Square in the Prime Wars. One can only hope he still plans to get TE-01

It's so wierd that most versions have the loseness in the left toe right ?? Coz only after I was posing him in "smooth criminal" stance. He ended up with a loose left toe as well !!

Really must be a mold issue !! Coz the right toe seems fine after lots of posing still !!

Feel exactly the same, he's not as nicely finished as MS prime. Whilst MS looked flat red in pics he has a metallic paint finish. TE lacks any kind of finish.

I feel people are over inflating TE simply because he rocks the same toon accurate box MP44 does at 1/3rd the price. Which isn't a bad thing but I think people are afraid to admit he's sub par in articulation and finish

Build quality, transformation ingenuity and visual appearance are all spot on but he lacks the two key things that take him down from current MP level which is paint and articulation.

There were some pictures a few posts back showing him in direct articulation comparison with MP44 and all they did was highlight just how rigid he looks in comparison.

Still, lovely figure, worth the price easily... I just feel he's over exposed due to appearance and cost Vs mp44

^i think you’ll find everyone has acknowledged the problem with the articulation of TE-01 but the lack of thigh swivel and to a much lesser extent, the lack of ab crunch are a compromise most are willing to accept for such a clean prime that is toon accurate.

Re paint, your mileage may vary but not something that I am personally upset about.

    Autobots... transform and roll out!

Errr..or maybe they just like him better than MS and they think it's a better figure overall. Just cause he is not your cup of tea it does not mean that other folks are are being disingenuous about why they prefer him over the other Primes.
I had both and after getting TE, my MS had to go..... Not because it was not a great figure... Not at all, it was because TE was what I wanted from my prime. And it was better built overall.
