So in for this! I dont really get the people saying this is saturated, its a completely different scale to any of the other ones we\'ve had previously and im sure there are alot of people who want a predaking in a 50cm scale.

super excited to see how they pull this one off, Their bruticus and Superion are totally wonderful! I was a little disapointed to see that Superions entire crotch, stomach, and thighs were one monster seperate component, but with how sturdy it made him and how wonderful it made him look ill look past it. Wondering what sections will be seperate chunks with ol predaking

I always love reading your posts. Your username perfectly describes their content.

As @Pessimus Prime posted just two posts above yours, we have no Predacons in MP. None at all. This will be only the second MP Predacon announced, and both are at the same “line drawing” stage of development. And the other is more Zoids than Transformers.

There are no other Predacons in MP.

    Misfired again buddy.

I'm aware, I just wanted to make fun of them. :lol
He has plenty, he just can't really use most of it. So... moot point, I guess. He looks nice. That's about where the good things I have to say about Feral Rex end. The individual robots are great though.
I think he was being sarcastic, but given the sort of things he usually says, I really don't know. I just decided I didn't care enough to give him attention either way.

I want to know where you guys are getting the bionic eyes that allow to judge plastic quality and end result models from a damn sketch.
God knows I really need eyes like that.

That said, colour me interested. I guess the decision will be taken when I unbox constructor and check his QC.

Heck if the psychotic and deranged Takara fan-antics can declare MP-44 the best thing ever (and remember some of the most rabid were stating that when all they had was a line drawing of one corner of his chest) then I think Zeta fans can express hope that Zeta’s Preds will be good.
And even better, most of the Zeta fans aren’t frothing at the mouth, mumbling incoherently and staring with glazed over eyes when they say it, unlike the pro-Takara crowd.

To be fair, that thing is like ancient by now. I had it and I sold it off without regret.

While I agree on the principle of your post, I dont say it regarding any group of fans but all of them. Its at least.....silly? To post things about engineering and quality before even a damn example of the thing exists.

Look at it this way: at least Zeta has set a precedent for their combiners, and a precedent for increasing their quality of designs, QC and the like over time. Superion is their best effort yet and we're being told that they will continue in that manner, so it's reasonable to assume their Predaking will turn out pretty well.
The official stuff, on the other hand, has been extremely inconsistent (especially in the quality control department - though, to be fair, I think TakaraTomy actually shut down that department, because there's no other explanation for how shit some of their QC has been recently) so for people to dub MP-44 as the best thing ever is ridiculously premature.

Also, I think there's a difference here, because most people are saying Zeta's Predaking should turn out well, where as TakaraTomy fuckboys are saying that MP-44 IS the best figure ever. So, you know, there's just a little bit of difference to how people feel bout the two...

The real question is which company has the balls to make a correctly scaled Skylynx?

But really though: why not all in one package, so everyone is happy first time around and another company can devote their effort to another character?

Literally also, you can stand (I've seen it) Superion with 1 leg up/out and he stays fine

Zeta's Superion is pretty stable I'd say. Probably even the most stable combiner out there, have you seen the videos?

Anyway, I'm pretty interested, I'd be really happy if they did Defensor & Predaking same time like w/ Aerialbots & Combaticons. I know ppl will disagree, but I really hope that they use same method as with Superion. Parts forming waist/thigh/chest piece, if it means having a stable combiner.

I could say the same about a non transforming figure vs a "true" transforming one ... For example: I have the UT's Challenger, it doesn't look as pretty as the 3A's version but it looks quite good and it transforms. I think both are quite good at what they are built for, but you can't really compare the two. In the end, I have to say that I admire Challenger more because he actually transforms.

That's why I think it's not fair to compare a giant action figure that is pretending to be a combiner vs a true combiner figure... ZT Superion is quite stable because he DOESN'T really transform, all of his body is fake and simple.

I like that my combiner teams transform into the limbs and TORSO. Additional pieces can partsform but they also have to transform into something else. If you like ZT "combiners" be my guest, everyone has the right to like whatever they want, but claiming they are better is not fair at all when we are comparing apples and pineapples.

I'm not saying it's better, and for the record, it does bother me a little that Silverbolt doesn't actually become the torso. I guess stability is higher on my list of priorities and for me outweighs the cons. Not really trying to argue or say 1 is better than the other.

Yes it is better. It is more stable, it is clean, its articulated and it doesnt have 5 million pieces jutting outwards from every conceivable orifice without falling apart if you look at it funny....

Zeta gets props for their entries.  Sure, theres a lot of faking it with combined modes, but that\'s a decent trade off for their pricing, astectics, and scale.
