I don't get it. If it's intentionally a G2 homage, why does it look like it? (colors or face) I'd be onboard if the colors were right. And probably get a 3rd party shoulder cannon

I think it looks cool and I am happy they are doing this line. Some of us want the repaints

 

I’m kind of in love with how ugly this figure this. He’s like the clone Shockwave abandoned due to coming out way too wrong.

 

I’d be in for this guy if they’d flipped his face deco. Super dark face with super light helmet almost always looks bad.

 

Wasn't expecting an homage to a canceled G2 toy, but I'm totally digging it. The melding of the green and black on the cannon I think looks great. What's with the box though? Is it a Selects exclusive?
EDIT: Yep, it is Selects. This makes sooooo much more sense now.

I'm also especially loving the implication that the Firestormer pack thing reported a while ago actually *will* feature a G2 Sideswipe. Bring it on!

 

Would be cool to have him leading your G2 Stunticons and Combaticons if you had them.

 

Also, props for the proper G2 emblem.
