I'm holding out for a boxed set of their Bruticus, since I'm content to have a set of botmode Combaticons in the meantime (UT for now, maybe MMC or FT one day).
The way my display is currently, I have Omega Supreme vs Constructor, and Zeta's Superion in progress with plans to keep a fourth spot open for a Decepticon combiner to stand opposite Kronos. If they do a Bruticus box set with whatever tolerance or design tweaks will make it stable and both combined mode heads included like with Kronos, I'd pick that up and call the gestalt collection complete. XTB Stunticons and any eventual Protectobots would stay in botmodes.

 

Yeah the aerialbots seem good by themselves and don’t really need a box set. But the combaticons would be good. And maybe if they fixed brawl’s treads and some other stuff it’d be great. And also both heads. That’d be great to oppose their superion. Or even if Zeta makes a protectobot set next. Which would be great. A stunticon set I could give or take from them. Since XTB are killing it.

 

A Bruticus box set with revised tolerances will bbe very interesting to me as a rival to Superion, especially if they are going to raise prices for the next combiners.

 

I think id probs get a revised boxset too.

 

Watch them announce a cartoon coloured version/chest plate with the alternate head just to piss ppl off

 

I’d be in for a toon package with proper colored pants/chest and feet for sure.

Is Armageddon taller than TW Constructor?

 

Depending on poses, Constructor’s and zeta Superion’s top of the head is around bruticus’s forehead. So just a little taller

 

Would also make people happy. Specifically those who make up the audience for the box set.  

 

Is this with all figures standing straight with feet together?

Chest plate is dark purple, looks a bit better in daylight. And it's not G1 or Ruination or anything, more my personal preference  

 

The knee connection to Swindle is the biggest flaw of this set. I can hardly post this figure without need to reconnect the knee again!
Anyone has a solution for this?

Where can I get a toon bruticus head? Only domestic US place that had it is ToyDojo, but they ran out of stock of blitzkrieg so I had to go elsewhere. They don't sell it separately unfortunately.

 

I think all US sellers that sold it "properly" from Zeta got a shipment of them. You just need to ask your domestic vendor for it. Don't think they sell them outright anywhere. Eventually I bet you will see a flood of them everywhere as an upgrade though.

 

I checked BBTS for you (which I bought from there 3 weeks ago), it's also sold out.
