I'll probably be picking up those IDW Prime and Megatron kits, then. Some of my favorite designs that, at least as of yet, don't really have great figures [IMO] and I'm not sure ever will.

 

Yeah, these guys aren't statues, but fully posable! it's a wee bit of scrolling, but Flametoys has been showing off the articulation of these guys on their facebook page, and it's something amazing!

I never realized GGG took so much inspiration from Victory Saber. No wonder I like them both!

 

After taking a deep breath and the plunge on Tarn, I can safely say that I am soooo in for this Star Saber. These things are on another level. Sculpt, paint, range of motion and engineering is second to none.

The fact that the Kuro Kara Kuri line doesn't transform is zero issue when the payoff is as good as this.

 

Gao Gai Gar? Also made by Takara. Early Brave toys were even outright retools of Victory molds.

I understand that completely. GGG was the last (?) Brave series produced and was almost 10 years later. To my knowledge, no GGG molds were reuses of any TF products.

Just never really put the two together so closely until I saw that stylized VS.

 

Better question, why does everyone hate that pose so much?

 

I don't see so much inspiration, the original Victory Saber looks very different from this.

Yeah it’s the only pose they use...except for Starscream, Thundercracker, Megatron and Nemesis Prime who are all in different poses...

 

Saw that Star Saber pic on thr front page and had my hopes up for Siege.

 

Why is Flame Toys making a Stealth Bomber Megatron, and not an IDW Megatron to go with the IDW Prime?
