I love the big head mode on it's own. Reminds me of some weird shrine to titans or something.

But for the most part I agree with everyone that his alt modes are mostly useless. However even despite that the fact that he can still be one of my favorite toys EVER is impressive and makes me want to recommend him to everybody.

 

Hmm, what an idea! There's actually quite a few things that we can do with Warden's head mode now that we have Carnifex and Pandinus. Although, none of those end well for poor Warden.

FUCK YEAH WARDEN! This is one of the only 3P figures that I didn't sell in the great purge of '17. I just wish the alt modes were better but I usually keep him in bot mode or head mode.

 

I have Guardian (not Warden) and love him. Fantastic bot mode. Definitely one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

 

I'd like to see PE do another release of this so more people can experience how great it is.
And also so I can buy another one since I foolishly sold mine in a purge a few years back. :/

 

Still doesn't fit in my collection anywhere but still isn't going anywhere because he is the best looking robot out there!

 

Agree with you all!! It's fantastic and there's no way it's leaving the collection!

 

He looks gorgeous and he's fun to mess with and figure out fan modes for. But he's nooooot quiiiiite there. Too many loose pieces, too much partsforming, and some weirdly counter-intuitive stuff--like I had to glue a shard of a credit card inside the hexagonal piece to get it to stay in the chest.

He's more fun if you do his alternate modes as a battle station & a scout tank instead of trying for that bizarre pile-on tank mode.

My ideal Fort Max figure improving on this would be:

Large headmaster
Alternate Deluxe figure--a different Cerebros who turns into an alt-head for TR Fort Max (with the classic Marvel red sunglasses)

The central Deluxe figure would come with upgrade legs & shoulder pieces to upgrade him to full IDW Fort Max mode. The legs and shoulders can separately become the large tank, and the Deluxe figure and Headmaster would have spots to sit and shoot stuff from the tank.

The shoulder & legs could also combine with TR Cerebros.

I may have overthought this.

this would be awesome 2ft tall double headmasters, tank and base yes, regular badass bot, hmm not so much

 

I personally hate the headmaster gimmick of the original character/toy style. That MMC is trying to do really does it for me.

 

I actually own perfect effect warden and I was a little disappointed in him. Don't get me wrong he is a great figure, but his transformation is finicky, he is a little short (even with the add-on kit), and his alt-mode is a little janky. His pose-ability is great, but he wasn't what I was looking for. Supermax looks like it will be that thing I'm searching for.
