So is this more of a model than a toy?

Watched a video review and the clear one only has 7 points of articulation and its not even good articulation, but these would make good art pieces

Megatron looks like he ate Actionmaster Thundercracker. :D  Still, I'd buy them as curios if the price was right.

When Super 7 took Masters of the Universe Classics over from Mattel, the figures went to crap. Mattel's QC was hit or miss. But EVERY MOTUC figure that Super 7 has made since they started using their own factory (the first 5 figures released were manufactured at the same factory Mattel used) has been a big steaming turd. If I won't buy their Masters of the Universe figures when they're the only ones making them, I certainly won't buy Transformers from them when Hasbro and Takara are making WAY better figures than Super 7 could ever dream of making.

And their customer service is practically non-existent. I received a figure so bad that one of the boots wouldn't even stay on. The mushroom peg the boot was supposed to snap onto was mis-shaped. I contacted them multiple times and never heard back from them.

Ouch, that really sucks to hear. Such a shame, but I appreciate hearing that from someone familiar with the products.

Who knows Mattel might surprise us at Toy Fair and have some MOTU stuff for this year. They have been teasing stuff in the past so hopefully we start to see some stuff.

Yeah, I'm not too impressed by what I've seen of the Super 7 offerings...

......but I'd be curious to see if they'd give us smaller figures as well.

I'd prefer a Siege type of scale. I'd probably want a 'regular' Transformer (like the carbots) around the size of a Metacolle figure, with better details and articulation than these figures seem to have. The likes of Optimus and Megatron would, of course, be a bit bigger. Also throw in some diecast in the legs for stability.
