There really aren't very many flames on it; I bet it would be easy to paint or sticker over them.

That said, I'm sure PE will repaint this at least once, possibly twice; that seems to be how PE do given its track record of 'leader class' releases....

 

Was it ever discussed if the main bot can be used with the lg pm trailer?

 

Have you heard a voice shouting it joyously as if from a mountaintop? No, which means at least I have heard no such thing.

The general consensus seems to be that it won't be compatible, due to the remolding needed for the cab figure. BUT... If I could pay for this and have it work with 2 trailer options instead of paying >$100 for pc-16? Oh, yessssss

Is this PE jet prime getting delayed?

 

Quick rule of thumb: Third Party products are always delayed. Always. Sometimes for months, sometimes for years.

How long do you expect this one will be delayed? Since they didn't released new photo in months, at least couple months?

 

It's possible that they'll give us a big update after the Chinese New Year holiday is over, which I believe is on the 19th. So we might get an update at the end of the month. Fingers crossed, I'm looking forward to this guy.

 

I am so hyped for this figure, literally can't wait for my preorder to ship (whenever that is)...

Props to Perfect Effect because I never thought I'd want to buy a Bayverse inspired design

No and I don't think PE has said much of anything about this for a while.

 

Understandably so, given that Studio Series has two alternative versions of the same idea, and everything together will probably cost less than PE's offering.
It might take a few more months.

Yeah when I preordered from Kapow it said the estimated shipping date was March/April but I'm not expecting to have it in hand until at least August... Doesn't meant I don't check my emails every morning praying for a dispatch notice though

 

As far as I’m concerned each time this thing is delayed, it’s a stay of execution on my wallet.

 

Just found out about this guy, but I believe that I am all in. I really like the fusion of movie and G1; I think that it’s a great marriage of the two designs and results in a very IDW-esque look that will give me the Prime I’ve wanted to see on my shelf, ever since Toyworld’s Orion came up a little short in several ways.

The flames will have to go, but it’s a tiny detail and that is what silver paint pens are for, right?

 

I have to admit, I am not much of a CHUG collector but I own Perfect Effect's Scouting Force and found them to be enjoyable to mess with.

To my mind, this figure looks like a fusion of G1, TFP and Bayverse OPs. It's nice that Perfect Effect is one of the few who attempt non IDW chug designs. Much respect to PE for doing their own thing.

The jetpack is so over the top that you can't help but love it.

 

PE's been in silent running mode for a while now. I wonder if this is anywhere near release? It could drop this month out of nowhere or stay ghosted until Christmas for all we know.
