To be fair, the dude did seem rather proud of his uncontrollable rages. If they are true.

Didn't ruin the hobby for me or, anything.

Is easy. I put a vector dry rub in there so, I'm not going to immediately add them.

I think in your case..we may call it like "Your mileage may vary" kinda situation.

Maybe you should watch more video reviews first? Have you tried watching the one I recommended instead? Usually for me I watch more than one reviewers video, so that I can judge which one suits me the most. (Nowadays I seldom use the instruction sheet at all.)

I've never done one before either, but I hear they're the most forgiving symbol option to apply...because while it's still wet, you can continue to move it wherever it needs to go. Then when it's in its proper place, you pat dry the remaining water and the symbol dries and remains in that spot.

not that long ago i started using them but waterslides are the way forward i love them just need to make sure you soak it long enough and have the surface wet too ... the first couple of times i used them i didn't have the decal or surface wet enough and they dried really quick but once you get the hang of it they look really good and easier to get them in the right place

stickers are just shit and rub decals sometimes stick too quick before you have them in the right place tearing part of it from the sheet although i prefer them to stickers and do look good when you get it in the right place

I'm tired of posts like the one that got this discussion going. Whether it's here, another board or Facebook groups, it's utter insanity. The toys aren't the problem, the people are. Toys are inanimate objects and can't actually offend or be a problem themselves, it's always the people. Aside from that? I'm fine. I'm not a physical person, I use my words so there will be no box beating or a beating of any kind. I'm not a toker, but I'm all for it.

Oh, I absolutely see the irony. I'm a fair person, I voice my shortcomings and I'm not a perfect person, nor do I expect it out of others, but I will address a public comment of a person saying they threw a $130.00 figure on the floor in a rage so they could go have a smoke because the toy enraged them because they're lacking the faculties required to play with a toy. Do you not see the ridiculousness of that? Even the person themselves does.

It's not just their post that's got me considering walking away. It's the people. They keep fighting and infighting and ignoring each other's points with a whole bunch of neener neener and it's ridiculous. It's fine to agree to disagree, but I'm seeing more and more posts that basically come to "I see you've made a point, I completely disagree with it because I'm putting my opinion over fact." (In fact, a post that was basically gisted just like that got my response post removed from another thread because I called the person out for behaving like that. They opened a thread with a poll asking for people's opinions and then ignored those opinions they asked for. I'm not kidding.) On that aspect, I *HATE* that Siege exists. I think they're fine toys, I think they are overpriced and I admit I feed that beast, regardless. While others believe they're the greatest ever and that there's reasons beyond "just business" that Hasbro raised the prices. (There aren't. It's literally just business. There's nothing actually magical about the toys.)

So, people are polarized and people like me who can see both sides, but not fully agree are trying to keep the train on the tracks while others aren't even willing to have a discussion while starting one. Then come here and see someone threw a toy in a violent fit (and not their first time, either as evidenced by the guitar parts) and yeah, something needed to be said.

Oh, I know my post was a tantrum. I wasn't shying away from it. See how that works? I'm being honest about the situation. Much to your chagrin. Drives you a bit nuts, doesn't it? (Don't worry. I'm not going to have you answer. You wouldn't want to admit I'm right and I'm not going to force the issue.)

And yes, people do have issues and different ways of handling/showing their internal conflict. That doesn't mean we cater to their whims, and we certainly don't do it when they're breaking guitars and throwing toys as adults. Surely, (again, you don't have to admit it, but you'll at least think about it without telling us) you have to see that what I'm saying here is at least realistic and reasonable, even if you don't want to agree with it or like it.

Yep, it's actually pretty disturbing for a lot of us to spend money on this addiction and to fight with people, especially grown people, over toys and the cartoons/comics/movies that come with them. That's the thing... I'm taking responsibility for my actions, I've always said I haven't always been a pleasant person and that I need to be better and I'm working on myself, but others need accountability for themselves as well. There's no good reason, not one, NOT ONE, for a grown adult to have a temper tantrum over a TOY and violently throw it to the ground. There's also no good reason to come here, voice it, and expect no response when making it public. You do see how that if one makes it a topic of conversation, people are going to converse about it, right? It's even more silly to expect no one would react as I have when reading such a thing.

You say you hear yourself complain, you and I have had words and you even reflected on your actions previously. You want constructive criticism? Here it is: Take my words to heart and actually put them to good use. Stop complaining all the time, stop giving people people like the person above a free pass and stop excusing and condoning bad behavior because we're all f'd up adults and none of us have room to talk or whatnot.

Because guess what? Yes, we do have room to talk. If we're not getting violent, we need to address it. Maybe the person might read the words and have a moment of clarity and say "huh... They're right. I went way too far. It's a toy. " I received a really harsh dressing down about my prior behavior here (not from staff) and the person stated and showed how much I had hurt them. Guess what? They were right. That was one of the things that made me change the direction I take on here, I hurt someone and it was wrong. I also want to be a good example for my kids and others.

Kids do come here, we shouldn't be showing them that "Daddy and his internet buddies have issues where we throw toys like a 5 year old, but we rip into them for doing the same thing because they actually have a right to... They ARE 5!" That doesn't just make us look bad, we actually ARE bad. We fight over toys with people and what does it gain us? Nothing.

And yes, it does ruin it for us and others. Why on Earth would I want to enjoy these when I know as soon as I say something, there's someone waiting in the wings to either ignore my point, or outright disagree on purpose to troll, or fight over what color red something is, when really we should be happy we even have the right to be free, have the ability to have an income capable of giving us what we have and how amazing this figure is when it shouldn't be possible.

We should be happy, period. We can have disagreements, but we should never be tearing each other down and throwing toys and looking the other way and saying nothing doesn't help the issue.

Apathy is dangerous. It's one thing to be upset and vent, once, it's another to have a track record of violence and do nothing.

You won't like my answer, you mentioned the ignore button. Feel free to use it.
This thread's been derailed enough as it is.

So, I'll end on an on-topic note: The figure's nice, well made, worth your money but not everyone's cup of tea. Buy what you like, don't want you won't, and find happiness in that. Be gracious and happy that we're blessed to be where we are now. Multiple options for an Optimus that makes each and every one of us happy. Go forth and enjoy whichever one you go with me. For me? My money's with Transform Element.

    Peace.

Hmm. I don't know what to say to this. My frustration and anger makes YOU think about quitting the hobby?
"frightening....scary...". Man, I tell you, I want to live in your world. I really, truly do, if you think that someone, possibly on the other side of the planet, throwing an item to the ground is scary and actually frightens you. It must be like all those hippie songs where everyone just lives in harmony.

Another diss at me?! Thanks, man!

Nope. Not proud at all. Actually, embarrassed. I had to come to the realization that my mind and fingers don't work well enough to transform a child's plaything? That's fucking embarrassing.

So no; No, I'm not proud that to acknowledge that I don't have the spatial and mechanical reasoning to transform a toy, even whilst trying to watch a video that is (mostly) clear about how to do so successfully. And I am the opposite of proud that it (and my inadequate internet connection) got me pissed enough to slam it down.

I can deal with all of that, though. TE-01 and Kup probably won't ever get transformed by me. Do I enjoy it less? Just a little bit, but it isn't much.

    Peace, ninjas!

They are super easy. Way easier than rubs but, I dont think they look as good.

Soak em, use a q-tip to slide them off, rub some water on the spot and place.

Rub the q-tip around to smooth it down. The weight of the decal will displace most of the water so, make sure and soak it up on the edges.

They feel fragile and are like some weird jelly but, they are pretty stout.

May I know which part of the transformation sequence, is causing you the most frustration?

Sure. Definitely the cab/torso. I've only got so many hands (two) and fingers (10).

Again, it's cool. Paik's video is great (plus, I think I like his reviews a lot), it's just once I move a couple of pieces, another couple slide or move in the wrong way, and...meh.

Ohoho, you have no idea how badly I wanna take a swipe at you for that one but it seems that that's the kind of thing that gets posts deleted and, as you say, we've already taken this too far. Suffice it to say that your being honest in no frustrates me and I don't know why you think it would. Good for you.

Again with expecting me not to admit? I wonder why you fixated on that so much. Damn, was that a snide remark? I'm trying so hard not to do that.

I'm not going to address everything you said because, well, you said a lot. Like so much. That and the whole too much off topic thing. But I did read all of it - I felt I owed you that since you took the time to write it in response to me. So let me just address what I took as the general gist of your post.

You're tired. You. It bothers you. Forgive me for being blunt but, so what? You're not the only one here. You're not going to take control of how everybody posts and you said it's driving you away from the hobby. I suggested the ignore button as a less drastic step. And yes, I use it occasionally (though I clear almost everybody off my ignore list from time to time in case they're saying something I don't want to miss) but you'll be happy to know that I don't feel the need to ignore you. I kind of feel like you're being a little high horsey but I'd have to ignore myself and like half the people on the site if that was enough to get me to click it.

I wasn't aware I was in a position to give or deny passes or that it was up to me to excuse what someone else does in his own home to his own toy. Do I think it was a dumb thing to do? Sure. @ILoveLuci4 does too. He said he's not proud of it. But so what? It's his toy. He doesn't need your or my permission to throw it and he certainly doesn't need our forgiveness.

Anyway, that's all I really have to say. I tried to keep it brief but I really suck at it - brevity is the soul of wit so I guess I can't claim to be overly witty. Hopefully nothing too inflammatory in there - I'm really trying to be better about that.

If your talking about TF element go back a few pages and see the paint up I did of the matrix chamber, then you will really want it.
If your talking about BEE, all I did was paint the lines on the face so you can see them.
You'll notice in the new Mp they etch them on the face so you can see them which they didn't on the original making the face seem washed out.

Just watch @Tman978 review. He advised to transform that part first (rather than later like in the instruction).

    Ah K thanks @rendsora
Also is there a way to get more movement with the side skirts?
