Heh. Yeah. I know, I'm a child. But I preorder locally specifically because I don't want to wait. I pay the higher US price plus shipping because I don't want to wait. But yeah, I've got my Silverbolt now and I should give it a rest.

 

Finally completed the Zeta Superion. My first MP-sized combiner. The combined mode is pretty impressive, and I like the bot modes and alt-modes fine. Transformation can get a bit fiddly and the quality of the set doesn't feel that high, but I'm satisfied for the price. Hopefully Zeta can improve the workmanship in the future. If so, they would be making some very nice toys. I'm on board with the "pantsformer" aspect of the combiner, because I think it yields the most solid combined form at this size. If someone can one day engineer a combiner of this size and solidity without resorting to partsforming, it would be extremely impressive.

 

And defy the laws of physics with mass shifting so double impressive.

 

Those of you in the UK? Other than Showz where else did you get the last 2 from? Kapow is sold out. Other than Showz, any other store manage to circumvent the VAT? Asking for a mate who lives in London

I saw somewhere on here (and if it’s already been posted, my apologies) questions about how to get Superion’s back jibbley-bits to be more stable and cohesive.

I went back and tried to find the posts I mentioned, but could not.
IF indeed, people are finding the back of theirs loose, mine is rock solid.
I posted the multiple pics to hopefully help those that are, check them against their own figure.

As for the other part, I think someone was referencing the pic below…

Cool. So the only reason the backpack should be floppy is if the weird little sideways cylinder peg thing in front of the landing gear isn't locked in between Silverbolt's legs. Well there's also the left wing along with the bit of fuselage it's attached to. The little peg thing that's meant to hook into it to hold it doesn't do a very good job. Looks like it's because of the peg that it uses to attach to the other half of the fuselage section - it pushes it out from the piece it's folded onto just enough to keep that little peg from getting a good grip.

That prototype pic doesn't make sense. What are the little wings that are taped up? The entire wings are out to his sides and those don't correspond to any other parts of Silverbolt's alt mode. The vertical fin (or whatever that part of a plane is called) maybe? Like with it split in half or something? Weird.

 

Most places seem to either have the newest 3 and are sold out of the 1st 2, or somewhat vice versa.

You're best bet is to either wait for all 5 in that lot at TFS or maybe get all 5 from different places. Or try Ebay, if you can find a good seller. Zeta Toys ZB | eBay

Lesson learned for me. Do not prepay on a preorder. I prepaid and have funds already committed to TCP with my Silver Arrow preorder. The more I read this thread, and see others getting their Silver Arrow in, makes me more anxious each time. I prepaid thinking that TCP would get their Silver Arrow shortly after Toy Dojo did, and it wouldn't require them sending me a follow-up email to pay for my preorder, and thus they could process my order more quickly. Still kicking myself that I didn't just buy it from Toy Dojo when it was in stock.

What put me over the edge was a friend of mine who was on the fence with this set since last summer, just casually bought his complete set of 5 Zeta aerialbots from TFSource and his order already shipped today. He's going to be able to form Superion before me, and I'm the one been counting down and been waiting patiently since last spring. LOL

I decided to order Silver Arrow from TFSource and hopefully it processes and ships today. When the one from TCP arrives, I'll sell it off locally. I don't think I'm going to preorder items anymore. You end up getting stuck with your retailer if their shipment lags. And yeah, the first batch may sell out quickly and you may miss it, but there is always at least one more restock. Waiting for Silver Arrow has been a clusterF.

 

Tcp will let you cancel your pre-order at any time. I ordered mine from agabyss and then cancelled my tcp order. They refunded it to PayPal early the next day (I cancelled it the previous night.) No muss. No fuss. And no hard feelings. I'm still annoyed that they didn't bother to have their preorder stock air shipped like the other stores did but they were great about cancelling and refunding it.
