Gentlemen, thank you for the advice and for some laughs. I'm not in any danger of not being able to pay bills, I don't go overboard with my collecting habits. Between when I wrote this question and the now, someone made the "joke" again and my fiance actually told her friend to knock it off. Later on, I talked to her about how those comments from a few certain people bug me, and it's been pretty good since. I'm sure it'll happen again (maybe?) and I'll keep your words in mind.
