Definitely feeling the love for that Springer :)

Dino-Riders - I do still have a couple of the dinosaurs somewhere back at my parents' house - I'm sure that they'll turn up whenever I finally get around to clearing the last of my stuff out from there ;)

Wow - that Springer is the best mainline figure I've seen in a long time.

I was just trying to say that I think the placement of kibble is less obnoxious on the Bumblebee Movie (Beetle) Bumblebee Masterpiece than it is on the G1 2.0 Cartoon style Bumblebee - the ill fitting backpack - gaps under his arms and badly implemented car windo storage - looks like the to needed more work - not that 2018 Movie Bee is perfect - his weapon storage could be better and they could have done a better job with the car doors.

I think the IDW one if fine for an IDW collector or someone displaying designs of that style - but it's like the distinction between Classics/Generations Kup and Titans Return Kup. They are for different purposes personally I think it's likely going to be an improvement over the Thrilling 30 one - if only because it might tab together a bit better than the Thrilling 30 one fails too.

There is no problem with there being multiple versions of the same character really - just look at how many toys Soundwave and Shockwave are getting lately. I'm not going to get in a pickle because Hasbro made another Springer ; especially as The Siege theme seems to suit the Cybertronian / Future look of the 3rd season of the Cartoon era quite well.

Said a final goodbye to my niece yesterday, it was a really nice service and everyone was asked to wear something pink as it was her favourite colour.

Springer is one that I'm definitely tempted by. I have a Gen30 one from the Platinum set, but his colours are weird and I don't like him sharing a body with Rodimus, even if it was his body first, Rodimus was here first.

After the pure joy that was I-Gear's Hench, their Gears was a bit of a let down. None the less, I really fucking miss the I-Gears Minibots.

That's how you do a trailer! I haven't even turned the sound up and I watched this three times.

I'm glad the service went well. Hope you and your family are doing as well as can be expected.

I'm all in on that Springer. Do I need him? No. Will he be usurping the T:30 one on my IDW shelf? No. Am I getting him anyway because he looks, quite frankly, like a fucking brilliant toy? Very, very much so!

When I saw the pictures of his chopper mode, I wasn't too sure how well the they were going to be able to pull off the chunky bot legs. More fool me. That boy sure has some heroic fucking proportions. Another victory for Siege.

I'm going to have to make an alternate shelf for all the amazing 'bots like Springer who aren't replacing their predecessor.

    Like this lad!

    So, something weird happened here.

I love this guy in every mode EXCEPT his armoured up mode. Armoured up mode is a bit too stout for my liking. In my head, Magnus is lanky AND beefy. Big fucking deal, right?

But that's what Magnus is all about?!?! I don't care about the little white pseudo-Prime, or some alt mode tribute to some line I never followed.

    So much for preconception.

I've enjoyed this figure so much in ways I never thought I would. And Not enjoyed it in the ways I was expecting to. Vive le Siege!

Though as I keep looking at him it's starting to niggle that he doesn't come with a couple of blade swoosh effect parts because you only get friggin' ONE with a Lionizer.
Come ON, Hasbro, at least get some effect part baggies out, yeah?

YEHR, it's a pity that quickstrike comes with a, actually very cool, flame effect, right?

I would very, very, very much like a Generations Spinister and Crankcase. Pretty please? WfC Chapter 2, if you're listening...?

To be honest, I'm more annoyed that GREENlight's flame effect part isn't actually GREEN, and that Dazlestrike's only a blade accent app and eyeballs different from Lionizer. *Chunter Grumble Mutter Moan*
