".....deleted and extended scenes you didn’t see in theaters, including the original opening of the movie" So does this mean the deleted Megatron-scene on Cybertron is included on the DVD???
It would be awesome if they got Jon Bailey to record the lines for Soundwave in the motion comic. Edit: NM,it would have helped if I had actually watched the trailer. :L
To curb piracy. Usually around the time a digital version is released, folks in the shipping centers will skim the top of the skids for a copy of the DVD/Bluray/UHD disc and upload it to the internet. This way, companies are trying steer folks into getting a legit copy early.
I wouldn't hold your breath on a US release for the 3D movie on Bluray. 3D in many TV manufacturers eyes is a dead gimmick. Companies are now concentrating on better color / contrast ratios. Honestly speaking, I love 3D, and I do own a 3D TV myself, however, I hardly use the feature. Additionally my kids don't really care for the effect and would rather watch a movie without the glasses. I do hope 3D does make a comeback... but without the glasses. I think if they can figure out how to do that with large panels, then it'll be successful.
Am I the only one more interested with the comic that comes with it? Will it be canon? Probably not, but it looks like our first idea of what might happen after the movie. I'd love to see how they get Soundwave to find Earth
They need an orange & green dude now so the cast in the movie will plant a Raaiiinbow in our subconscious leaving us feeling happy as we leave the theater.
Am quite familiar with the situation. Lesser movies continue to be released in the format. The problem is that the movie is with Paramount. Aquaman, Alita, Spiderverse, The Grinch are among other recent movies being released on 3D Bluray, at least somewhere in the world. There's no reason they couldn't do it as a limited edition release. It's exactly the sort of film that would sell out fast.
