yeah mp11 was pretty much the original design tweeked and mp03 was the remold of the original prototype which mp11 is based off ....so have to agree a new seeker mold would actually be a true v2 seeker

a lot of newer collectors don't know mp11 is not technically v2 but mp03 is

I hope in hand that definition in the season 1 mask is more easily seen. Maybe it's the lighting or angles we seen, but the seperation between his mask and nose is kind of missing. Nice to know it should be there from @ambitron work

I saw that one too. That's the one with the creepy white Michael Myers Halloween looking face right?

I liked the cardboard trailers that came with the original masterpiece Optimus and Ultra Magnus. Minimum additional cost and space.
I did but some cheap toy trucks and used parts from them to improve the trailers, though. I made them more stable and have them working wheels. If Takara/Hasbro could include a cheap cardboard kit with working wheels, that might be a good cost saving alternative.

Cardboard accessories and the word "Masterpiece" don't go together.

I'm personally glad TT came to its senses and stopped offering that. It's one thing not to like the current aesthetic, pricing, what have you. But cardboard accessories?

    Screw that.

It’s like requesting for the showroom floor assistant to sell it without rear seats, liscensed wheels, emblems, wipers, and the radio to ‘knock off a few grand’.

Also I’ll let you permenantly glue your ‘Valley View Lamborghini Delership’ logo on my custom suicide doors if I can get lower interest rates.

These aren’t on shelves at Walmart for a reason. They’re basically designer toys at this point. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love what we are getting.

Haha, thats the one. It looks a nice figure, but with a head sculpt like that, its a pass from me.

I did research on both of these as well. Never to take MP 44's place as my future Masterpiece Prime, but to maybe display on my desk or dvd/ bluray shelves. But TE-01 has a weird head that has a big seam that you have to split during transformation, so much so its a deal breaker for me, and I cant stand how flat the reds and blues look on the Magic Square offering. It just looks cheap. Even with the backpack, MP 44 is on another level compared to these two :2c:

Yeah, those two "Primes" don't do anything for me either. If Mp-44 didn't exist, I would've kept MP-10 easily. They truly look like a downgrade of sorts IMO.

So if they were to sell two versions, one with a trailer and one without, like the new reissue G1 Optimus, for those who can't afford the trailer... Would it be better to not include the cardboard trailer with the latter at all? Or include it so the purchaser can display it only if he/she wants to?

For the sake of the line being called “Masterpiece” I think every release from now on should never be “barebones”.

Optimus prime is a truck. The trailer is part of him. I don’t see TT ever releasing MP-44 without it unless of course is some sort of special color version.

Sure they could, but cardboard accessories?

    That’s an embarrassment.
