On the one hand, I love his usage of dialogue. On the other hand, he kinda did stuff like make Star Saber a religious nutbag and wasted Defensor. And Rook. And Mirage.

He makes decisions as much as anybody would. And makes do with sudden reboots and series cut short as much as anybody could try. But he did create a great sense of character and care for his characters.

i dont think he's "the one" responsible for things being bad, i think he's one of several people who are responsible for the movies being bad! It would be unfair to blame one person, I understand thats unreasonable. but it's pretty clear that he took on roles that were not appropriate for his job description in the process of making bayformers. i am happy to see that hasbro are rectifying that! things seem to be on a good path, and i hope they dont fall back into old habits, because the future looks bright as it stands now...

 

James Wan. Helped create 2 very successful movie franchises and has worked on big budget movies with crazy money made, Fast 7 and Aquaman. Overall I feel he has a good pulse on what the fandom wants in his productions.

They'll probably just play it safe hire some faceless yes man/woman as opposed to an actual Feige, Snyder, or Kennedy. Someone that can be pushed around and scapegoated if things don't go well. Still, it would be neat to give the brand a creative face beyond Warden.

 

I hope that's not the case, because then there would be no real reason to want to work for Hasbro. I hope whoever gets this job is more like Feige, and they give us a Hasbro Cinematic Universe we've all been needing or at least good Hasbro solo movies.
