A 13-track score of various cues, as edited for the movie. It was probably made for awards consideration, though if so, its odd that Arrival to Earth isn't on it.

Dare I say it seems better than the official one, since it is all in order and exactly what you heard in the film... although it seems to be missing the descent to earth theme.

I disagree - the score was arranged for listening as music, and in that sense, its better than the movie arrangement if you're listening to it for music enjoyment.

As I thought I can't stop listening to the "Arrival on Earth" and "Autobot" tracks. Their just so awesome.

I can't wait until my order comes in.

Some of the cues on the promo aren't on the score you can buy, such as the soldier themes.

just got my copy from Amazon.com today. I'm on track 3 right now, and I can tell I'm already in love with this disc. I hear it only gets better. I am pleased.

EDIT>>> The track "Optimus" is one of the most beautiful pieces I've heard in a long long time.

EDIT 2>>> "Arrival to Earth" makes me want to go and do something heroic.

Hey, I haven't gotten the Score yet, but I was wondering if it features that cue when Sam is running through the streets with the All-Spark cradeled under his arm?

If it is, and I'm relistening to parts of it now, it would be in either "Downtown Battle", "You're A Soldier Now", or "Sam On The Roof".

Did anyone else who bought the actual disc notice that the tracks still read as "Whitwicky" and "Skorpinok"?

The Arrival to Earth track is one of the most inspirational piece of music I've ever heard.

Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this CD. It's like it's made out of pure AWESOME and served on an AWESOME platter.

Anyone determine what track order to play if you wanted to listen to the score chronologically as heard in the film?

No. They didn't. I'm looking at the track listing on my Windows Media Player and both are still as I said. The tracks on the jewel case and leaflet are typo-free, but not the actual disc information itself.

:google  They're in Latin, and decipher to gibberish, pretty much meaning absolutely nothing.
