Yeah, I mainly use it to track Pops, and that works pretty well, but Transformers not so much.

I'll be damned. Just snagged the only SS Prime 32 at N. Irving Target.

 

Not much at the N. Dallas Target on Montfort but there were 2 SS Voyager Brawls in case anyone is still looking for him. They also had a Power Charge Bumblebee.

 

I had to pay 74 plus taxback when they first came out. So at least that.

WOW. For a Voyager, this Prime it utterly fantastic. Like, to the point I'm not even sure I want to display him combined with Jetfire (also gorgeous) any more...

I mean...I'm still going to, lol. But this is exciting. I used to take down figures and transform them on a fairly regular basis, but just kind of stopped. This gives me an excuse to do that again.

Also, anyone else having a problem tabbing JF's shoulders into his pelvis when transforming to jet mode? One goes in just fine, but the other flat REFUSED, to the point I just gave up...

 

Nope, I only saw them in store for a short time and then nothing...Optimus disappeared really fast too..well at less the good boxes.

 

I dig him, just wish his wheel wells on his legs would fold down like they did on the previous Voyager but that's mainly due to the combination with Jetfire. Honestly, I haven't had time to transform my Jetfire yet.

 

The combination is cool, but has its issues. Lots of leftover parts, for one. There's storage for the axe under the wing in the back, but it looks goofy to me, so I'm not putting it there. And the cane/cannon is supposed to attach to Prime's arm, but it just pops (literally, like it's spring-loaded) off.
Overall it's still a sick look, though.

 

I honestly have no plans to display him in combined mode. They just look too good separately.

 

All of the leftover parts become the megacannon in combined mode. There’s even a handle that folds out for the gun mode.

Albeit it looks weird being the entire upper torso, but it’s a thing.

 

How in the hell did you get him to stand while holding that thing?! It's freaking heavy. Mine just wants to face plant...

 

Went by the Target in Cinco Ranch. They had two Studio Series 32 Optimus Prime's and two Bonecrusher's. They also had two of SS Blackout and Grimlock.

 

anyone seen g1 reissue devy in their local walmarts lately? i may try tyler this weekend and i may swing up to dfw if i need to!

 

I'll let you know I havent seen devy since before Christmas here in Tyler. Only one is Prime and that's about it.

 

I think it's propped against the knee on mine. But are the feet locked in on yours? Not prime's feet to Jetfire, but Jetfire's feet to the intake sections on Jetfire. Those lock in and keep Prime from faceplanting, at least on my end.
