I had a response back from DNA saying report with your retailer, why they receive report they will ship replacement parts to the retailer.

Also my sword tips don't line up, I'll post a photo later when I get chance

 

I received two ratchets. Make sure to check the box again, and maybe even the shipping box if you still have it. I seem to remember that the baggie holding those ratchets wasn't securely sealed.

 

Definitely only received one ratchet.

Given its only $20 more for this kit than the Grimlock and Megatron ones which contain a fraction of the plastic albeit respectively more detailed parts, it really does still feel well worth it faults and all.

The size of the sword alone is like a kids role play toy.

 

Just out of curiosity have you now received yours? Any QC issues and how many ratchet pieces did you get?

 

Yeah, I talked about a bit a few pages back; No QC issues except I only got one ratchet piece.

 

Was just curious as it seems we shop at the same UK retailer. Did you contact regarding the missing ratchet?

A few minor QC issues with my wings but you can't see it anyways.
Regardless, kit makes him WAY more menacing!

I tried to put them in is shoulder cannons but the joints on them weren't strong enough to hold the weight.

 

Oh yea, I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but there is an alternate mounting method for the shoulder cannons on the stock figure that will prevent them from sagging, but they won’t be spread as far. Open the joint all the way and plug them into the 5mm ports on the back of razorclaw. They’ll be mounted closer to the sides of his head than his shoulders, but they won’t sag

Finally received mine today. I was surprised by the arm joint parts, those will get installed eventually since one of my arms has no ratcheting features. Love the new fists. Spine is cool; like the torso locking features when coupled with side fillers. Definitely improves the 'King of the beasts.

I am a little disappointed because the gold paint on the sword is all scratched up and the locking peg near tip broken. One of my wings is missing some gold paint at top. I would return the set but I've waited too long.

 

I think the only thing else we need for this beast to make him perfect (without going all out) is a better head articulation.

 

Has anyone tried if the combined sword is by chance compatible with other figures? Like Devastator with the dna hands, maketoys combiners/citybots, Zeta combiners?
