Nope, easy peasy. Mixing the colors is something I can do in my sleep.

I just opened up Montana and I'm under whelmed, chipped paint, loose ab crunch and knees and my fingers are killing me from trying to get the rear of the car to lift up for transformation (which I inadvertently chipped the paint off that part too). I also have Henry I'll probably open him up tomorrow.

Maybe I should have waited for Fanstoys after all lol

I have to ask, but did you buy Montana after reading through the QC horror stories here?

I've read the past couple pages mostly about Henry but I didn't see anything too concerning. I watched Emgo's review (who didn't mention anything about the paint), Toy Dojo's review (who also didn't mention anything) and I saw Peaugh's review, who scratched the chest himself by accident, which did worry me and he did mention paint chipping but he had an early copy. I guess in hindsight I should have specially asked in this thread, but even then that probably wont have changed my mind. I dont have the biggest collection, but I have a few different figures from a few different companies and I haven't had such an issue with paint chipping, besides maybe Posiden, but even then it was mild in comparison. I didn't think this late in the 3P game that this would be a thing for such an expensive toy. My only solace is that it was marked down on TFS so didn't pay the full $100

You shouldn't be able to see them, the legs collapse in for bot mode

Man I just opened up Henry and it's a night and day difference. It's leaps and bounds a better figure.

Okay, I feel a bit better about this set now.

The Henry I received has no flaws from BBTS. I feel very fortunate. BBTS got their shipment later - do you think a later has something to do with it?

I don't think so. Ordered and received mine from Show Z. Absolutely flawless so far as qc goes.

The DX9 Menasor Exoskeleton looks fantastic, (which is why I'm in on this set). I'm just concerned the final version/menasor mode will look too wide leg/armed because of limb alt mode sizes

what you got was pretty much what 80% of the people who bought montana got. you and i have the exact same issues while some of the others ab crunches were strong. go to around page 100 and you'll see what i mean. im still waiting on a full in depth video review to get henry myself. not tryna fully commit to 5 bots who's qc and production efforts are that of montanas. but then again at the rate dx9 is putting these out, fanstoys might beat them to the punch.

There is a video for Henry that Toy Dojo posted. I opened and transformed Henry and he's literally 100x better. the only thing is the head wobble, which I'd take that over chipped paint any day.

I wonder if a change in factories made that much a difference I wonder if they’ll reissue Montana. I would totally get a revamped copy, I love the design and transformation. And I leave the original one as a stand alone, or sell it for half price....or use it for target practice.

I hated Montana, Henry is much nicer besides the head wobble.

Still not great figures. Average at best. I don't mean that to be a negative, more so that there is nothing stand out about either of them

DX9 always certainly achieve a lot with minimal steps. DX9 Carry still remains one of my favorite pieces but I don't feel the Stunticons are quite on par. It is though certainly the best aspect of them

i’d like to see a little more before i move forward with them. don’t wanna gamble with their qc/production efforts.
