I never said it made more sense than "Prime + Trailer + Jetfire" just Jetfire only, no trailer whatsoever. I never said that I thought the base Prime would have nothing to combine with, only that I think the trailer alone is more likely than Jetfire alone. Him having nothing to combine with at all is almost impossible.

I heard from someone else that LGEX was done and that was wrong, however, you made the Victory Saber comparison, when if anything it should be an argument for me, the v-star = a trailer, victory leo = jetfire, Victory Leo was the one that went unreleased.

 

This honestly would have been a better remold for Siege Ultra Magnus than Cybertron Prime just based on how the armor gimmick works. I hope we get a new RID Prime at some point though.

You also said that Takara wouldn’t include parts in the design for combination if they didn’t intend to release something for him to combine with. Star saber has pretty obvious docking ports for the shoulder parts of a victory saber combination, yet no victory Leo. Hence the comparison

 

I don't see a version with the hands and head built in with no trailer, if there's one there and I missed it that's on me, but I just see the super mode ones and bendy prime, who doesn't have any super mode parts.

 

Hopefully it's (Armada Prime) part of a 35 year anniversary line that will get released worldwide...

Agreed, but he won't fit in the Siege line, and the LG Ex line has never had all new molds in it, so that's the only other thing that I can think of.

 

I still think Armada Prime might be part of the Commander class.

His trailer was YUGE, and I can see Super Pants Prime being 11".

 

If Armada Prime can't fit into Siege, then hopefully he'll be placed into the 2nd part of WFC

 

We need a large Galaxy shuttle for sure, but have him come with the micromaster base that Countdown originally came with like he did in Japan.

Because if they do the Armada combination gimmick, most people would display him that way and have a giant trailer/legs doing nothing.

So you make the overall package more appealing by leaving out the trailer and thus reducing the price.

Hell, Takara doing the trailer and Hasbro leaving it off but *both* selling Jetfire could also happen.

Keep in mind, the fact they combine with each other would be entirely secondary to the figures involved. Just like Armada.

Yeah but there wouldn't necessarily be a guarantee that Jetfire would ever arrive (he could easily be cancelled for whatever reason), and if he didn't then they've put in a pointless feature.
