The line has 11 Marvel and 2 DC characters so far and also a total of 2 exclusive repaints for Deadpool and Venom.

Their preorder price is usually only 10% off RRP and the demand is pretty high. Spiderman and Venom have been reissued so many times already.

I will be damn happy if we get for Transformers:

    Optimus
    Ultra Magnus repaint
2 other autobots like Ironhide/Ratchet or Grimlock. IDW guys are unlikely though due to the license. Maybe other Optimuses like Lio Convoy.

    Megatron
    Soundwave (Soundblaster EX repaint)
    Starscream
    Skywarp
    Thundercracker

For each transformers collection, I need a minimum of 4 vs 4.

Can't really think of any 80s iconic non commander Autobots that would benefit from an action figure. Grimlock and Hot Rod seem more iconic than G1 Bumblebee.

Nice. I had the original one (and Magnus, and Hot Rod and Megatron and Starscream) this does look nicer. Not really my bag anymore but he does look great.

Unreal that a Revoltech is now priced at $80. I bought the very first figure in the line, back in 2006. Evangelion Unit 01. I wanna say it was around $20.

I also bought TWO Hot Rods, both for about $15. I bought a second one cause the pegs for the hand broke on my first one. He had a ridiculously tiny pea head and HUGE oversized hands. I didn't like the gun design either; and it seems like that's where the MP toy got the inspiration for their guns too. I prefer the "winged" guns that came with the original G1 Hot Rod.

Anyway, enough about Hot Rod. I can't believe this thing is so expensive. There's really been a plethora of non-transforming Optimus figures over the years though. There was one that had a really Sunbow look that came out a few years ago....expensive though.

Ex Gokin. That was it. I'd rather spend the money on something like that instead of something as stylized as the Revoltech.

Revoltechs are larger now, with the Marvel ones averaging 16cm in height and they do cost more than the usual Bandai Figuarts which are 15cm tall.

So I would expect Optimus and Megatron to be 14-17cm tall and maybe if they do Starscream and Soundwave they may be 1cm shorter.

And yes, that Ex Gokin one was also 17cm but not as poseable.

    I\'m assuming these don\'t transform?

That seems about, right though Revoltech figure sizes do vary as you mentioned.

    They're non-transforming action figures.

I used to be so disappointed that this...

What, this Revoltech is 80 dollars?  Don\'t make me laugh.  Greed like that will get the creators nothing from me.  At that price, I\'ll wait for the KO.  Absolutely shameful, considering the originals were so affordable.

Revoltech has gotten so much better over the years with their Marvel and DC figures. I’m excited to check this out! Looks great

They’ve improved quite a bit, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt here. Their Wolverine, Spider Gwen, and Deathstroke, among others, have been outstanding. The price is a little steep, but it’s consistent with their other products so can’t really fault them there.

Agreed. Their upcoming Iron Man looks phenomenal, really hope that one is great

I really hope this isn’t a one off. As much as I love transforming figures, sometimes it’s nice to have a great action figure without the compromises of transformation.

Man, too much good stuff at wonderfest 2019.
This is so bought, hoping they give us the obligatory white prime/magnus repaint as well just like the prior Revoltech prime they did.

Haters gonna hate but Amazing Yamaguchi makes good figures and I'm looking forward to adding some TFs to the shelves.

Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi figures are highly articulated, painted well, and usually come with a lot of accessories. The 7500 Yen price point for this figure is the same as what they've been charging for their other figures and I think it's definitely worth it. The Japanese sites also run sales on preorders, so you should be able to get him for around $60-$70 USD. In my opinion, that's a better value than the Flame Toys model kits if you want a finished figure and don't want to mess with painting or putting a figure together. I'd love to see them tackle all the main characters.

Revoltech`s TF molds as a whole, the figures are good have changed for the better in terms of mobility and articulation!

P.S On this occasion, I am awaiting the possible announcement of the Gazelle (Zootopia) figurie from Revoltech from the upcoming August exhibition of Disney D23!:)
