I've never seen the leader class in stores since Revenge of the Fallen or Dark of the Moon, I don't remember. I'm not even joking.

Do stores even carry the size class anymore?

I think it depends on their mood.

Siege all the way. It’s like a mini Masterpiece.

It's more rare in physical stores, but online generations leaders get marked down especially near black Friday to Christmas.

I got my TR Overlord for $30 on Amazon. I think BBTS has him for 30 even now. You just have to check a wide variety of sites frequently.

Overlord is currently $13 at TJMAXX. He's the only Leaderclass figure I have ever seen dip that low pretty much anywhere.

Cyber Battalion is an excellent figure and was my Shockwave for about 8 months, after suffering through using FoC Shockwave for years. It has a really perfect look and is way better than it has any right being.

But WFC:S Leader Shockwave is basically a Masterpiece figure. There is no topping it.

Cyber Battallion has a great, bulkier look and may look better with certain molds, because Siege Shockwave is firm Voyager and is smaller and less bulky than Siege Megatron. It'll look great with most figures, but if they decide to make post-siege Voyagers larger again and make an even bulkier Megatron and Starscream, he might be too small to display next to them.

My opinion? At $20, Cyber Battaltion shockwave is a hard figure to beat, and everyone should have one, even if the main shockwave "for now", and probably for a long time to come, rightfully, is WFC:S

WFC:S one but the Cyber Battalion One is great for what it is.

It really kind of depends on your own preference for scale and such.
I am using Hegemon and MP-10V for my Megatron and Optimus Prime. The Cyber Battalion Shockwave goes with those two far better, for my tastes. I'm used to Shockwave being close to the same size as Optimus and Megatron. The Siege figure, while looking great with superior articulation, is just too small for me. The Cyber Battalion version still looks good and is a much better size for me.

Now since I still use the CHUG Seekers, I have contemplated switching to the Siege Optimus and Megatron, as they are shorter and would scale a little better. If I did this I would get Siege Shockwave to go with them.
But then I'd also need to change out my MP Hot Rod that I use for Rodimus Prime, and Titans Return Galvatron, and my DX Cy-Kill. Right now they scale well with Hegemon and MP-10V, but would all be too big for me, compared to Siege Optimus, Megatron, and Shockwave.
I have no idea which way I'll finally decide to go, so for now it's just easier to stick with what I have. Especially since I still like it all.

I have to agree that the CB version was great as a shelf filler, and really pulled off the G1 appearance quite nicely. As a static, stand there figure it did what it needed to do.
Pick it up or transform it and it instantly falls short of being a worthy stand alone Shockwave. I have it and still enjoy it, but Siege has rendered it obsolete.

    YouTube (Legacy):
Siege Shockwave is not only a better figure overall, but it pretty much negates the existence of the Cyber Battalion version in terms of collecting. CB SW was fine for a stand in, but it is wrought with limitations when compared to most other mainline figures.

Right now I have neither but judging purely by looks I'm really looking forward to getting Siege Shockwave and wouldn't even look twice at Cyber Battalion one if I saw it in the store.

I think just saying leaders are more rare in physical locations would be accurate too. I'll have to start looking for a cheap Shockwave at the end of this year. thanks for the advice.

I don't doubt Leader distribution might be scarce in particular regions.

I bought Sixshot on sale at Amazon, and I'm pretty sure I did the same for Jetfire. Overlord at Ollie's. CW Ultra Magnus during a Hasbrotoyshop sale, and PotP Rodimus during a coupon sale on toys at Target.

Siege is you wanna splurge on Shockwave.

Cyb Batt is you want the most bang for yer buck.

I'm selling my Cyb Batt version for basically what I paid for it plus shipping, as I just took it out of the box and returned it.
