God I hope Computron gets a UW re-issue like Superion

Great photos though, especially impressive you got those poses to balance considering how heavy it makes Abominus' torso and what a struggle it puts on the hip joints.

Basically... I used a small precision screwdriver along with small tweezers and slid a sliver of a laminated card that I cut up, underneath the plastic piece that ratchets against the gear in the shoulder. Use the screwdriver to pry the piece up just enough that you can use the tweezers to slid that tiny piece of material underneath.

You're adding just a tiny bit of material underneath it to add tension to the tooth that contacts the gear, and as a result, tighten the ratchet when it spins.

Looking at how the mechanism of Hun-gurrr's shoulder ratchets are, you'll understand how this mod works. That's the best way I can explain it, good luck.

Wow, great, thanks! Does the chest cavity close properly/tightly? This was my main reason for not getting it.

The extra white on the arms and the bigger dragon feet make hun-gurr really pop

I'm just glad Hun-gurrr finally gets his own guns :D

Unfortunately, the dragon heads have no way to attach to the old heads without major modding. I just propped them on there for that pic. Now that it's shown the combiner head stores in alt-modes like stock, it's the beast heads' integration that are the only things left disappointing to me with this kit.

Couldn't you drill a little hole above the old head so you could peg it above the old ones?

Yeah, that's what I meant by major :D

To me, tossing away the old head isn't as much of a risk destroying the figure or making a mistake as drilling 5mm ports in the exact perfect spot on those tiny feet. Not to mention that the lower dragon jaw might not even look right with the massive overbite the new heads give it... and by the time you do it, it's already an irreversible mistake.

I think I'm a bit confused, do you mean the forward/back ratchets, or the side to side ratchets?

agreed, but sadly those dragon heads aren't actually attached to his feet, as much as I wish they could be.

The forward/back ratchets, those directly on the torso, that you can see on the inside when take out the head.

Ah okay, that makes the most sense but at the same time sounds REALLY difficult to actually modify. Good thing I have a first-attempt Hun-gurrr to practice on

Thanks. I did see that but didn't know if the pictured gap changed with the presence/absence of the faceplate.

I know this is now an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone has come up with a way of making the feet more stable, those rocking joints that let it lean forward and back are a pain, love the rest of him, even though I don't display him with the gun due to his wrists not being able to keep it up and it being too heavy.

put just tiny amount of superglue on the ankle rockers and just move it around 20 seconds then keep moving for 5 mins then 10mins and so on so to keep the rockers from locking. You want to do this for 1 to 2 hours so that it does'nt lock. Thats what I did with mine. You can try future or nail polish. But for me since it doesnt hold its strength that long I preferred superglue.
