And Optimal Optimus was how big?

And how heavy were they? Siege Magnus weighs more than Combiner Wars Magnus. Shorter, yes, but a lot denser. More mass.

Siege Jetfire is more in line with a Supreme if his heft is consistent with other Siege figures.

His shoulders bend forward and his forearms connect to form the engine intakes. That said, it's likely that the rear wheels end up on his back when folding the shoulders to the sides when going to robot mode.

You'e missing the point - Jetfire's had two goes at the CHUG thing already, and both were pretty good in their own right. This one does something different in that it looks very much like the G1 Cartoon version - cool, until you stop and think critically about what a boring design the Jetfire jet mode was.

I like to think that the new Impactor, is secretly Shattered Glass Impactor. Due to the fact that he has a purple autobot symbol.

Skyfire! Wow, he looks amazing. I always wanted a toy of him as he appeared in the cartoon, and this is it!

Mirage is cool, but....earth mode. The WFC: Siege line is great, but I was really hoping it would be closer to the Cybertronian design aesthetic seen in the G1 pilot episode. Hasbro citing that episode as inspiration just got my hopes up too high. Skyfire (beautifully) stands out as the closest to that aesthetic so far.

Optimal Optimus was a Super Class, later known as Leader Class.

Siege Magnus is an Ultra, one only needs to compare him with the Universe Ultra Onslaught or Ultra Powerglide to confirm.
Also comparing Siege Magnus to Combiner Wars Magnus is a wrong way to do it because the size classes had already begun to shrink by that time. A more adequate measure would be with the older Leader Class figures like the ones used in Cybertron or Revenge of the Fallen.

"Boring" is subjective. Personally, I prefer the G1 cartoon design over the VF-1 Valkyrie design, because that to me will always be a Macross design, not a Transformers design.

On top of that, this is bigger than both those previous figures (as far as we know, anyway) and, as you already admitted, the design is completely different. Your argument that we don't need another Jetfire because we have two and you find this one boring is ridiculous.
If you want a more accurate one, check out FansToys Phoenix. I'm no FansToys Fanboy™ but that thing is amazing and worth every last penny.

Either that, or Slapdash. But I'll take either, or both! I can see quite a few Powermaster/Targermaster retools possible just from what we've seen already. Seems silly not to, in a line that includes Targetmasters...

    Excactly.

Siege Magnus is demonstrably not an Ultra. You're conflating size with class, and in reality, size is irrelevant. And you're even cherry picking, ignoring the blatantly large Generations Studio Series Leader figures and only focusing on the properly-scaled Generations WFC Siege figures.

The largest that the Leader-class or equivalent has ever been was in the Transformers: Cybertron line. The largest. Even the line before that, the Leader equivalent was small. It's irrational to imply that just because the Leaders aren't as large as the tallest of their class means that they're not Leaders.

Universal scale will do weird things like this. One year, figures of a certain class may be small. The next, they might be large. Or they might not even have a similar size to each other. The fandom is going to have to get used to the Prowls being sold at the same price point as the Ironhides.

Yep. Need that Omega Supreme. I really like the updated base mode look with the now elevated tank track, which also eliminated the need for the legs to parts-form.

Although I'm not normally a Mirage, I'm really digging that Mirage. Although the alt mode spoiler kibble looks weird and kinda beats the purpose of it being a spoiler, it's really nice that it becomes his iconic arm kibble in 'bot mode.

Some people don’t support the underworld third party knock-off and IP thefts.

Yeah Sky Lynx would be a good pick as well!

I actually wonder if Hasbro will put out another Broadside, based on the toon, he's quite a big guy - plus he'd be perfect for a Tidal Wave retool, and maybe since Tidal Wave can split up into multiple configs, Hasbro/Takara can use that as a way to do his triplechanging.

Aside from that - it doesn't seem he has much of the battle wear previous figures have, neither does Impactor. Wonder if Hasbro is moving away from that - since it seems a lot of buyers aren't really into it.

So far most things look like discount MPs. After Siege is done, someone should compare an MP display with a Siege display using the same characters.

I think Sideswipe, Prowl and Mirage are the most Earth mode looking ones at the moment. Hound and Ironhide are pretty good.

I'm hoping for a "Titan class" that can be a sort of playset like the Citybots have been but also big enough to fit in with the Deluxe/Voyager figures.

God, no. I want a decent Broadside and a "Commander class" one would be perfectly sized for me but the less "toon" the better. Dear god, no. Do not want.

If they do it, then it should be this version:

I always dug cartoon Broadside's pimp coat. He's even gotta a little cap on, all he needs is a feather.

Well the toon did have the latter version show up. IIRC, the first one was based on the prototype that didn't push through. I'm also a fan of the 2nd one as well.
