Alright! Great work on Skyfire, Hasbro! Finally a great Skyfire. He doesn't look badly damaged so far, he has a great size at 28 cm and 75 euro's is an acceptable price given the only alternative is about the same but has a head that sucks.

Extremely unlikely. Hound and Sideswipe close panels around their shins to cover the hollow completely. On the Impactor render you can't see any flaps or hinges used for closing the shins. Moreover, the transformation scheme looks rather CW-rate simple. Pressing the legs together simple. Renders are what's properly transformed, the stock photos are full of mistransformations and bad posing. It's simply going to be that hollow.

Please quote my entire post. Out of context it looks like I'm complaining, when I was actually joking cuz I actually like all the greebles in this line.

Definitely agree with you on this.

The challenge is, you can't have the traditional omega base mode at large scale without it becoming a massive parts former and/or intricate / complicated like the 3rd Party MP sized offerings. Plus it looks like it could be a working track / tank which is an added challenge. It's also being designed to a low price point that will no doubt really retail around the $100 as all the previous titans have.

Ultimately it's still primarily a kids toy so you can see where they have simplified the transformation like with metroplex, fortress maximus and trypticon. It also has to meet type approval regulations.

I'm frustrated by this one too though as Omega is the one base transformer where the base is as cool as the bot mode or should be. On the plus side it's looking reasonably compact. The rocket forming the whole back, shoulders, arm assembly is a good solution too.

Head / face will be a TCW / DNA upgrade kit no doubt if it's that bad. It could just be that it has led eyes and the pic badly shows them lit up however.

Overall, big credit to Hasbro for delivering a good interpretation at titan scale and at a sensible price point.

So Omega Supreme is current Titan size, right? Cause I can't wait to pose him next to Predaking and Devastator!

Humm, you mean the Scout toy? The half-track? I dunno... That guy did not transform by the turret turning into his arms. Or you mean his larger missile launcher Voyager form?

Why should he be NOT that tall? You'd also want a Leader sized Metroplex because the G1 toy is only as big as Powermaster Prime? :D
Omega turns into a base with a rocket that could carry pretty much all the Autobots inside it... he should be just as large as the base Titans. The smaller Titan size is reserved for gestalts like Predaking and Devastator. I know the old toon liked to pit Devs vs Omega, but that was only because the Bots never had a combiner in 1985.

    Those are certainly real digibashes.

Yeah, the gaps in the hand look awfully deep from the front angle, moreso than just sculpted detail. Could be a quirk of the modelling, but dunno.

Which is why I only quoted the RELEVANT PART to what I was commenting on. In context it's clear I'm agreeing with you from a position of "I hate this, but..." which, again, in context retains your positive view of the greebling. Du.h

Ooooh, I see it now. People kept saying Scattorshot and I kept thinking of the Scout and was like "that transforms nothing like it!"
They need to remold the whole upper body and arms, but yeah it would work well.

Though personally, I don't see much of a problem.

That doesn't preclude the possibility of the tank slotting into the star ship, forming the ship's main battery and much of the mid section.

Impactor is heavily infected with the cheap hollow plastic syndrome, something very common nowadays , so it is not a surprise.

In the other hand, Jetfire and Omega Supreme look AMAZING :bay

So what all do you think Omega will be capable of besides what we see here? Maybe an alternative Micromasters base configuration? IMG_20190206_140328_427.jpg transformers-war-for-cybertron-titan-omega-supreme-01.jpeg I feel like there could be more to him than meets the eye.

sadly no...maybe for a SDCC exclusive. but i dont really see this HasbrOmega selling enough to warrant a repaint or a second run. Fortmax only got one because he had such a huge following with GrandMax.

This could be a possibility since Optimal Optimus got a black paint version for SDCC

    I'm hoping for Tidal wave.
That's what I thought too. I can see a lot of retooled locations to make him. And, it excites me!
