Also I'm eager to see this new Omega customed into Animated Omega Supreme, or maybe even a 3p upgrade kit that changes the G1 style figure to the Animated design.

Or you know Hastak could just make their own Animated Omega already and realize our dreams! Its never too late give us a toy of one of the best characters in the show! Come on!

Omega has a base mode with little partsforming, which rocks. People were swearing up and down about him being The Ark, but Hasbro is always gonna go for the slavish G1 alt mode nowadays.

Interesting to see what The Ark actually will be, if we get one at all.

Same thing happened with MP Ultra Magnus being one whole bot.

    OK, here we go...

Impactor looks - lacking to me. Whether it's the boxy Marvel UK-based design or the hollow inner legs or the tank mode that evoke the worse tank Megatron designs I can't say. I can appreciate the use of the undeserved old Marvel comic design, but I'd like something with a bit more personality to it.

Jetfire looks neat, and probably large, and the first official toy of the character to go "full cartoon" (yet with toy homages in the armor form) Still, I prefer the earlier Generations toy on looks, even if the plastic on that one is thin and hollow as a promise.

Mirage looks pretty nice, though the legs look a bit insubstantial to me. I might have preferred a bit more of the old 'Egyptian headdress' motif to the head sculpt though.

    Countdowm looks... as expected.

Omega Supreme: Robot mode looks great (not sure about what looks like a visor or sunglasses on the face, though that may be an artifact or misinterpretation of the image) . Rocket base looks rather compact, though I am curious about the design of the rocket itself, as there's apparently a lot more rocket than Omega has forearms.

Hasbro seems insistent on trying to forget Animated even exists. But we won’t forget. We’ll keep raising our voices until we get the Animated revisit we deserve!

I’ve collected classics/generations since the beginning, its the only reason I have kept with transformers to this day. The prime wars trilogy was what revitalized my collecting drive.

I just can’t get excited for siege. As months go on I don’t want it. The siege design choices make the toys outside of a select few unable to fit in with my collection. The greeble being the absolute worst offender. I cannot believe I want to willingly pass on magnus and shockwave because they just do not fit in with my collection. I really wished siege would of been a separate toyline so we could continue with the established designs of generations. I still doubt we’ll ever even get a proper generations cliffjumper.

Outside of omega supreme, reflector, and the micromasters/battlemasters, there is just nothing for me. Hasbro wanted a reset and I feel they took it in a wrong direction.

A real Skylynx, Unicron, Primus and even a Dweller equipped with some cool Legends class Quintesson's that judge other figures (both bots and Con's) before dropping them in a Sharkticon pit (alt-mode) if they're feeling imaginative.

I really don't understand why they're so bent on forgetting it. Especially since its one of the mot popular shows in the franchise. We know for a fact that they listen. Especially on sites like this. If they didn't I doubt we'd be getting something as extreme as a Cybertron homage in this line.

But outside of making sure Ultra Magnus gets a hammer every now and then they're content to leave it be, which infuriates me.

Posts like this make me curious, what would make you interested? For me it would be a move to BW and UT updates.

If by “established designs” you mean “Geewun but modernized,” they stopped doing that when Titans Return hit.

Sure, he looks similar to Legends Warpath but closer examination shows the figure seems to borrow elements from Cyb. Def. Scattorshot with how the legs generally "split" to form the tank base as well as the arms folding up parralell to each other to form the turret body, and Generations Warpath with the secondary turret weapon basically flipping 180 degrees from an off-center shoulder mounting in robot mode to an inverted center mount for vehicle mode.

At the same time, he looks kind of like an inverted Generations Straxus since it's a long tank body with the turret mounted behind its center - only which parts the legs and arms form are different. The chest actually still remains present in full view of sorts, but where Straxus hides it under the vehicle kibble shoulder pads, Impactor flips the chest panel up and the arms dock underneath it.

And now that I look between that headsculpt, the opening rectangular chest piece, and the conspicuous way the shoulder cannon has to transform, it wouldn't surprise me if there isn't a distinct (if extremely low) chance they might retool him into a Perceptor.

Rack-N-Ruin? On the one hand, given they are wholly unique being fused at the arm and don't even have an alt. mode (at least not from what I can recall), they would be a hard sell.

But on the other, after seeing how Battletrap got pulled off by being two seperate robots that have a combined form, and Rack N' Ruin would be pathetically easy to just have their arms combine, maybe turning them into some kind of long wheelbase articulated military looking truck with identical looking ends that could be passed off as two independent vehicles could just work.

Like, maybe the M65 Atomic Cannon?

For the big gun, just have their guns combine into some long barreled monstrosity.

I think Skylynx would make a better commander, the Sharkticon pit could only happen as one of those dioramas like the sdcc Dinobots and that exclusive Prime Shockwave, Unicron and Primus would be great though.

Jetfire and Omega Supreme look freaking phenomenal.

Only took close to 35 years to get an accurate jetfire/Skyfire, but finally.

Yeah, at this point, I'm tempted to find another Legends TR Bee's somewhere on sale and take the head off, paint it red and replace Roadburn's head with it since I have no attachment to the character anyway.

I want to continue my modern g1 collection. Hasbro was super close to finish 1984-1987 and they basically have put on breaks on that, especially of the designwork of siege is the new standard. We still need a proper legends cliffjumper badly. I hate to think so many holes in my collection will go unfilled.

Take shockwave. They finally made him, and because of the siege style he is a hard pass. Cyber batallion shockwave just does it better

Power of the primes was a treat as well, but titans return was perfection.

I am glad they raised up the price to make skyfire a reality. Damn, that looks excellent and they even found time to homage the macross toy as well! Clever!

Despite not being a voyager class figure I was looking forward to another Deluxe Impactor but these images are not flattering. I will be happy to get a Cybertron Defense Scattorshot though.

Jetfire is nice but with that chest armor I hope to see Skyquake or Dai Atlas in the near future.

Very pleased to see that Omega Supreme appears perfectly chunky and simple. I also really like that elevated track.
