Neither of you did. You didn’t really toss out any real possible suggestions or elaborate on help. Like toss an idea out and elaborate. Help them generate a character that can work in some way.

For example, instead of the child of the two maybe an expirement? The build that is close to Arcee but, also has the elements of Optimus. Small CNA coding to give the blends of the best traits of the two. Maybe the glitch of the flaws? Drop the Prime and add Pax or don’t even have a last name. This could work for IDW.

Then help if they wanna play in different universes. Don’t give small weird bits “advice”.

 

The artist was fairly adamant that they wanted to do their own thing and ignore basically everything else. Plus, they're also somehow confused by the TV show.

 

That's a good point, maybe trying to deconstruct in order to improve won't work for everyone.

Said a couple of guys from 2019 who had seen this user go "Oh I ship Optimus and Arcee" in virtually every thread involving Optimus or Arcee, and were honestly kinda sick of it. After a couple years, I at least came to realize our opinions were likely tainted by the very negative emotions we felt facing this, and the advice resulting would be negative. From an objective perspective, the linework and details are pretty great, and I'm sure they make people happy.

Hello there, I have looked through this thread and saw everything that has happened. I believe that they had quite a point but the weren’t exactly in the right either. I wonder, have you finished the backstory yet?
