    6 more days until ShowZ is active friends. Being honest I probably won’t buy it for another couple weeks, I have to deal with ShowZ to give me a bit of Credit for my Weijiang Hide Shadow that’s broke it’s foot.

    No, but I only twisted it a little and it just came clean off, but the other foot is absolutely fine. It also didn’t come with its tail part of the helicopter which is supposed to be detachable from his robot mode. Despite that I’m fine with not getting a replacement as long as I get credit, I think I can try fixing him up myself with gorilla tape haha. The missing tail fin is a bummer tho, I wonder if anyone else suffered from missing parts.

    Sounds like there was some quality issues with you figure. Missing a whole price of the figure is another story though. I hope you get some form of compensation. Are they pretty good about that?

    From what I’ve heard, ShowZ is great. I’ve heard about how they often contact the manufacturer to replace the part, if they don’t allow it, sometimes they get one of the new figures they have and take apart that to ship a piece, if not they provide store credit. After long and hard thinking, I want that store credit. If I get about $25 then I could buy that megatron for $50

    @Sayan Rahman - Breaking the figure yourself and then asking for credit from the retailer seems kind of odd. Why should @ShowZStore compensate you for breaking your own figure? If I bought a car and ran it into a wall by accident, I don't go back to the dealer and ask them to give me some money. If I bought a figure and broke the arm off by accident, I'd still ask my retailer to help me source a replacement piece - and if there was a cost I'd pay for it - but I wouldn't ask them to give me money for my own mistake.

    If something is missing, 100% a good retailer should help you get that piece from the manufacturer.

    You're free to do whatever you want - just saying...

    People have gone through situations like me and ShowZ compensates for breaks that happen like this. I didn’t mean to purposely break it, I literally turned the ankle once and it snapped off while the other remains fine, this is likely a qc error. People have had other transformer figures from them that have gotten damaged a day or two after receiving them, likely qc errors, and they’ve told me ShowZ compensates for them. Also, as I said a whole piece from the figure is missing and never was packaged with the rest of the figure.

    Also I didn’t ask for a replacement, I told them about it and they told me they’d contact the retailer for a replacement, they are the ones who were kind enough to decide that

    To be fair, it sounds like it took very little effort to fall off. That sounds like a quality issue. Driving a car into a wall would be the equivalent to dropping the figure. Even if it was an accident, it is your fault.

    Moving the foot and having it fall off however, would be like you opening the door on your car and it falling off. The door is meant to open and close repeatedly without issue. It wouldn't be your fault it fell off.

    If showZ is willing to work with the buyer for a quality issue, even if it wasn't their fault, that's great. Shows they care about their customers. I'm sure they communicate and are reimbursed for the faulty products that the manufacturer sends to them as well.

    Everyone has different expectations with quality. What one person thinks of very little effort is different than another's. However if it wasn't broken when he got it, it's a bit hard to find fault with the retailer. I have the figure myself so not just blowing smoke.

    I know for a fact that show.z cares but that's a separate issue from someone breaking their figure and then asking a retailer to give them $25 credit to buy something else.

    Um no.

    3p Manufacturers will sometimes support retailers with parts but retailers in China are not going to be getting any $ back for qc ridden products and certainly not going to be compensated for the time/effort taken to resolve these types of issues.

    I'm fine if we agree to disagree. I just think it's a bit odd to expect others to pay for your mistakes.

    As I said, I’m not the one that asked them to fix my problem, I merely notified them and they said they’ll talk to the manufacturer for a replacement part. Instead of a replacement part, I’m merely asking if they can turn it into credit. If i made it seem like I was asking them to give me $25 then I apologize. I’m hoping for $25, if that’s not what I get in terms of credit, then that’s okay with me. As stated before, this is ShowZ policy, many people have had qc issues where joints broke easily, and ShowZ aided them in getting them a replacement part you can see a lot of this kind of discussion happening in the ShowZ thread where many people experienced similar qc situations like I did. Despite our disagreement, you defending the manufacturer through reprocussions like this is something I can genuinely respect.

    I agree, if it's your mistake, own up to it. I just wouldn't necessarily consider this specific case as the buyer's mistake. Difference of opinion. Transformers are awesome.
