I got the UI KO version in. Not impressed. I know it's cheaper, but overall it doesn't really compare. The chest is oddly oversized, making the vehicle more deformed and making the robot mode kinda weird compared to the original. The black paint work was really sloppy, and the legs had swapped parts that made the vehicle gappy until I fixed them - the pic below is pre-part swap, but the finished product doesn't fit as well as Newage's does. I don't regret trying it out, but Flipper was cheap enough that I don't mind sticking with them.

In the pics, UI is on the left

Im not digging that new color on Bumblebee. Is there any way to find out what color version you get prior to ordering?

Thanks for taking that bullet for us. Honestly I thought this was an odd choice for a KO. It's not like the original was all that expensive and the KO wasn't really that much cheaper, was it? Seems to me I spent somewhere in the high teens or low twenties on my NA Bee.

!! I haven't kept up with this thread. Has anyone discovered that you can improve his ankle-rocker articulation by reversing his "calf" pieces?

Those calf pieces have a little divot on the outside of his ankles so that the hinge on the back of the feet can fit there in alt-mode. If you reverse the calves, the divot will be on the inside, and give him greater ankle posability.

He's still transformable: You just have to spin the calf piece around on the ball joint when you put it into alt mode, so the divot will be back on the outside of the ankle.

Nice! Now he can stand in a wide-legged A-stance with both feet flat on the ground.

Again, maybe this has been addressed previously, but:

I can confirm that, although swapping the lower legs gives Flipper a great ankle tilt, it also results in a slightly gappier alt-mode. That's enough of a bummer to me that I switched them back. Meh.

It's here. That's a custom paint job by a collector. They have a whole legends collection painted all weathered and realistic that looks astounding.

I saw on NA's Weibo that they made a Transparent version of this, but the translated version of the page was still a tad difficult to read. From what I understood, it seems to have been for some sort of giveaway, but I couldn't quite catch how many were made. The post uses the number 50, but the link they provide, as well as a following repost, mentions 10?

I think it was only 50 made unless someone corrects me, and it comes with the backpack. Info is back in this thread.

It's the "draw 10" part that confuses me a bit. The "Limited 50 body" part definitely seems indicative of a limited run of 50 toys, but when you follow the link to the "lottery", it mentions only 10 winners.

The list of winners also showcases only 10 people. Did they make 50 but only gave away 10?

That's a good question, I only have my old phone, I can't translate. I'm not sure if they are going to continue to do giveaways until the 50 is gone or what. Someone here will give a clear answer.

I'm going to guess and say there probably all gone. I just started the weibo thing today. I'd love to have one though

What I showed there is the translated version of the page. Hopefully someone that can actually read the original would be capable of clarifying. Super interested in knowing more about these.

Looks like 8-20 the 10 winners were congratulated. I havent seen another give away on their weibo page so im assuming the other 40 are gone.

Kind of stinks they only made 50, but are making more of the clear versions of Cosmos since you can pre order online.

Their already limited; not knowing a full line they are going to produce. Seems like they had to catch up production even with Critter which says it became stable in August.
