    On Commander class, I'm going to temper my expectations by presuming that it's going to be for reissues of old leader-class toys that are now too big for the current iteration of leaders.

    Discovered cyberverse wave is wave 3. Don't think i can be bothered to wait that long, but watching emgo review of the prid wave, i think that works as an earth car. Whack a satellite dish on top and some antenna, and got a nice armoured comms truck. Just need to find a nice shapeways head for it.

    That would surprise me if it being branded under War For Cybertron as in the listing is correct.

    Well, like for instance the old Cybertron Megatron toy, or (god forbid) RID2001 Megatron.

    Of course, I'm still hoping for Thunderwing, because I kinda always am. But tempered expectations, you know?

    Still seems more like something that would be branded Select rather than WFC, which has very specific aesthetics and an ethos of adhering to 'em.

    Imperartor there ladies and gents, dragging us back to reality ;)

    You could be right. Who knows it could even be the 2005 leader prime reissued to satisfy folks who want something bigger.

    @barry,
    Congrats, must be a relief to be able to get some closure and properly move on from the relationship that didn't work out. Best wishes with the new living arrangement!

    But what about Greenlight? She's a potp mould under the seige banner. No weathering on her, right? So there is a precedent for them breaking that ethos.

    Commander Class

    Worse case is that it could be some action play set or one of the younger large scale toys like we have seen with many infill listings before.

    I reckon it will be a Jetfire or Grimlock.

    The weathering is pretty variable throughout the line, and that mould's just a single previous line away not X years ago, clearly meant to interact with those prior figures (hence deco'ed to fit the "clean" aesthetic of the other Limbgals without any weathering) as well as modified to function with one of the current line's gimmicks (the Battlemasters, even though weirdly the mod has taken away some C.O.M.B.A.T. compatible ports, go figure?). She's still been deliberately tied into the current line by modification. That's a sliiiightly bent ethos, not a broken one.

    No, she's actually lost some having no 5mm ports on her forearms BUT they've made her forearms & fists a single piece to stop the weight and mass of her Battlemaster detaching the separate fist part (or at least causing constant fist floppiness), which in a brief test I made with my current POTP Fembots and Lionizer could be pretty easy to do in play, particularly if the wrists of the copy you have are already weak.
    Ironically to make her better suited for Battlemaster wielding she's lost C.O.M.B.A.T. compatibility. Kinda illustrates in a nutshell the balancing act the design teams have to do.

    Well that is what got me thinking along those lines, but I can't imagine they'd release two toys of the same design like that. Scorponok maybe? Holy shit, Scorponok, that could be it - too big for a leader, not big enough for a titan...

    Now you're just being mean.
