This may be blasphemous, but I'm not all that crazy about Siege Megatron. I'm also not that crazy about Titans Return Megatron. Ssssoooooo I decided to mash 'em up. I'm pretty happy with the result.

I chopped off Siege Megs' head and made a Titanmaster port by drilling a hole and fitting a Zoids Blox rubber plug into it. I also drilled a hole in the back of his fusion cannon which, luckily, worked perfectly to accommodate TR Megs' bathtub gun. (While I was at it, I clipped the tabs on the backs of his hands so they can fold all the way out.)

For the Titanmaster, I used the faceplate of TR Megs, the head of TR Nucleon, and the rest is TR Ptero. The colors don't exactly match Siege Megs, but they're good enough.

The tank mode isn't quite perfect—the fusion cannon is fractionally too wide, making the arms in turret mode unable to align just right—but it's still very close and I'm satisfied.

Come to think of it, I do have "Megashoton" (the Megatron Targetmaster/Battlemaster from TFC's EX-004 Targetroids set)... Hmmmm. Time to take some more pics!

I always thought the head on the Siege version was off. TR works so much better.

Thank you! Uh... "cheesewheel"? Is that what people have been calling the figure's big ol' head? I love it!

    I'm glad I wasn't the only one!

    Thanx man!

TR Megs head (at least the front half) is soooo much better than the Siege head. Awesome custom job!

that's what i've been calling that circular half-tube that goes around the back of the helmet. i don't know if he always had these, but it seems more prominent on siege megs to the point that it puts me off.
