No issues with my copy, I guess some of them were rushed and not assembled properly?

Has anyone heard an update when NA retailers will be getting their shipments in?

That could be great! But, they'll probably "Studio OX" 'em.

Did Studio Ox ever do any BW art? Is there even any reference for such an idea/style?

Probably not. I'm no expert, but they (or Ocular Max) sure have a boner for Super Anime/Gundam-ish type robots.

The vast majority of Gundams are in the "real robot" category, not super robot. But I get what you mean and agree.

Has anyone tried a thinner battery siE to solve the difficulty with the circular panel not closing flush?

So jealous, while mine is decapitated on a desk and waiting for parts :D

I don't think it's a rush. Just some of the neck pieces between copies may be slightly too wide / thick and don't come together tight enough to create the friction required. How @griffith76 explained it makes a lot of sense. I can't believe every Inventa neck piece is made from a single cast so there must be a variance between the multiple casts used

Given the size of the individual pieces, and the weight of the head, I'm surprised that no ratchets were incorporated into the initial neck design.

I posted the picture of the battery package, just in case anyone was wondering which type it is. It takes two very specific sized 1.5v batteries. When you insert them both, there shouldn't be any difficulty or resistance inserting them.

They are very small, and easily slide in. If there is any resistance, or the panel no longer closes flush. Then it means the wrong batteries are being used.

I ended up using 397 batteries. They fit fine without issue.

Spent way too long researching batteries and looking for something on amazon.ca to find ones that would work and could buy in a small pack.

Only could find AG2/LR41 in package of 100+ on amazon.ca and nothing locally.

Ok great. I was told the wrong size which coupled with 6 beers made me overreact. Glad to know I didn’t waste $260 on something that isn’t up to snuff. Off to find the right size!

Just me, but I feel SkyLynx should have the 80's style NASA logo, like shuttles of that time wore. 80's=G1. :)

Of course, the blue version does match his scheme much better.

Thanks, SkyLynx is a beautiful figure, he is very unique and a great addition to any collection.
I printed out various NASA decals and fonts to use, and I also made my own. Right now, I'm just testing out various designs, I can just easily remove and print more as I like.

Yea, the bright blue fits very well with skylynx's deep white and blue colors.
And I do get what you mean about the 80's aesthetic. Thing is, I've only seen a few if the original g1 episodes, so I don't really have a connection to it.
I'm just customizing it in a way to incorporate modern and older NASA designs, and my own interest.

My Space Chicken is with DPD atm and in on his way, I hope to have a note from them saying he is waiting for me with a neighbour when I get back from uni. All my fellow UK Collectors should be getting him today as well! good luck guys :)

also... I just thought about this, but why haven't any of the main reviewers done a video on this guy? its as if they forgot about him after looking at the prototypes :/
