So I FINALLY got a Starter Pack and 3 Boosters, (yay!) and I'm confused by the terminology of the cards. Mainly: Pierce - is that Attack? Like Red Alert has 5 Pierce in Bot Mode? Tough - is that Defense? Like Red Alert has 0 Tough in Bot Mode? Bold - ??? I don't get it HELP! Thanks
Pierce is an attack term. When a character has pier e, it cannot be blocked. Say Arcee has 4 pierce, whatever character you attack will take 4 damage no matter how many blue pips they flip. Tough is a defensive term. For each Tough “point” you flip 1 battle card when defending Bold is the attack version of tough.
Ok cool. Let me drop an example so that I know I get it. So if I'm defending with my Hound - Long-Range Scout in Bot Mode, (2 Def) and have 2 Tough on him, I draw 3 cards? And if I say get 2 Blue Pips from that draw, I have a total of 4 Defense and the attacking character has to have at least 5 Attack to do anything to me? Am I right?
If you have 2 tough, you draw 4 cards. You draw 2 cards tonattack and defend by default. You are right on the pips though. Take what is on the card and add the color pips to that
