TFsource has a preorder for him. Do we know if more stock is coming for 2019?

 

yea i saw that but if its arriving in march then ima wait cuz its been on preorder since like september of 2018 said it would arrive 4th quarter but now its saying its arriving in march so im hoping they have a 2nd release this spring/summer

Is the KO more accurate colorwise?I never looked into it until now, but I had assumed the darker one was the KO. Now that I think I'm seeing that the darker one is actually the orginal, I'm having second thoughts about getting that one.

 

I was tidying my display last night and noticed two screws have a tiny bit of rust on them. This has never happened to any of my TF's. What about you guys? Your Peru Kill screws OK? Gonna try and find some the same size and replace them.

EDIT: Mine is from the first batch of this ones release. Not a KO or re-issue etc.

 

After discussing it in the news forums, I had to come in here and ask about Peru Kill vs SS Lockdown... There are some people there who actually believe that the SS version has better proportions than Peru Kill... What's wrong with those people?!   

 

Absolutely it does. PK has lots of amazing things going for it but it really doesn't look that much like lockdown. If it weren't for the backpack then the SS would win hands down. Especially in the head sculpt department. If you combined the transformation of PK with the sculpting and accuracy of the SS you'd have a perfect Lockdown, but at this point neither of them hold that title at all.

 

The Studio Series has short legs, weird arms, he just looks stubby, Peru Kill has an slender and well built body that reflects their AoE appearance much better imo. Sculpt wise, yes the SS is better, but Peru is not too far off either.

Well I guess we have different opinions.

 

Love my UT Lockdown.... This guy is a masterpiece to me... Badass!

 

Man I still wish UT would do the orange shadow raider redeco for it. It’d be nice to see how it would properly look with all the orange.

 

He's the wrong body type though. Like I've said a few times in this thread already: PK is a basketball player when Lockdown is supposed to be a soccer player. The legs are way too long, the head is too small, the shoulders are too boxy, and he is much taller than he should be. Also, the headsculpt and details on the SS are simply much better, which is not debatable because they had the actual CAD renders and UT did not.

He's still an amazing figure, he's just not a perfect Lockdown. And anyway I'm glad you like him so much!

 

Whenever someone lists the flaws in this figure I remember what a wise man once said.

 

Unfortunately my UT Peru Kill has developed an incredibly floppy right shoulder. Doesn't seem to be any way to fix it either as it's pinned in. Really wish they could have included a ratchet, or at least a screw that could be tightened instead. Otherwise it's a perfect toy. If anyone has any suggestions on tightening it up I'd be grateful.

 

If anyone sees peru kill lockdown for sale please lmk im in desperate need of one. No knock offs

 

I am selling my UT Peru Kill for parts because I tried to fix/customize the windshield with spray paint and messed it up. I bought the BSL knockoff version to replace it but it's accessories had some minor flaws so I'm swapping weapons with my UT version. So I have a UT Lockdown, with original visor face and seed, bsl version sniper gun (one of the screws was stripped and I tried to carve it out), bsl version hook (tiny gap in the middle), UT version dog accessory in good condition, original box and instructions. Lmk if you want one of these or all. So if anybody wants to try out a leg mod by adding ratchets you can experiment on a spare Lockdown.

 

Any chance this gets a reissue? or restock?

 

I think this figure is beyond amazing! The ONLY thing I would have loved to see done differently is some more head articulation. Other than that, it's a brilliant take on Lockdown.
