Is that G2 version an exclusive and do we have an estimated release date?

 

I'm still waiting on the reissue (pre-ordered with Show Z), but damn, now I want a G2 version too :/

 

Personally, I think their version looks mediocre, so I'm certainly not waiting.

Granted, I think their Brawn looks way worse than their Beachcomber, but that's besides the point.

That's lame. I hope they're wrong. Sounds like the same release date as the regular Arkose though. Maybe it's a limited run alongside him.

Would be interesting to see if it ends up as an exclusive like their Stunticons (although those don't seem to be all that exclusive after all, but they are limited).

 

Okay so this G2 one is looking really nice and I’d love to get it. But I’ll wait till I see reviews to know if the issues of the the original are fixed. But it does look great and I’m glad it still has the birds.

 

I just got an email from bigbadtoystore saying that they have moved my preorder for Arkose version one (now discontinued) to Arkose version 2, while honouring my original price (saving me $6.00). Decent of them! If you look at their website they now list the original as sold-out and have new preorder listings for V2 and the Green one both for $79.99

 

Ver.2 is supposed to have fixes. The limited G2 Recolor is based on this new ver.2

I pre-ordered the G2 recolor. Love the color scheme. I may get the new VER.2 as well, and maybe even the Fans Toys Dune Rider if it comes out soon. (Not 3 years from now with QC problems like Hoodlum.   Fingers crossed.  )

I asked @ShowZStore in another thread and they will be carrying it. Presumably the listing will go up after Chinese Ney Year ends on the 12th.

 

Oh yeah that makes sense for a lot of their products. I was gonna order a wreck gar from them and it wouldn’t get through cause of that. Figures.

 

G2 Arkose has been listed up on Baba and a few US retailers sites.

 

So I just pre ordered mine (g1) on TFS, was there any estimated release date on this guy? I know definitely after CNY but was it said when he is expected?

is it seriously march   why does that seem so far away ugh. I did not know about Tfs' shipping policy of only shipping all the items in an order once they are all in stock. Arkose is the only one who is not in stock so now it looks like I will have to wait a almost two months to get arkose and two other figures I could have gotten sooner if I would have ordered them separately

 

No pre-order up on ShowZ yet but they have G2 Flipout up so it should show up sooner rather than later.

And you'd have missed out on the "fixed" version of Arkose, so look on the bright side - it's only a few weeks until March, and you can get the improved version now.

EDIT: ShowZ is showing late April now. Oh well, I'm sure it's just so they can get G2 Flipout and Deathwish out first.

 

ShowZ preorder is now up (I may have been compulsively checking their site).
