Ouch, the replacement is terrible, that's the worst one I've seen.

You're correct, I was taking your post literally because I don't really know you or what was behind your first statement. Now that you've explained yourself a bit, I better understand where you're coming from. Even though I disagree with the way you presented the thought initially, I think we share more common ground than not on many of the matters you bring up. I appreciate the civil responses.

If you're trying to tally up locations with/out paint chips, I ordered from Chosen Prime and have a chip out of the box.

It should be an easy fix if I can find the time to take the arm apart. Or should I see if TCP will order a replacement arm for me? I would like to keep this copy since I don't have the chip. What do you guys think?

Contacting FT directly might be the fastest way to get a replacement part.

Wow this figure is complete and utter cheap garbage. Wouldn't it be more effective to just demand a refund or a return en masse? Otherwise, the company will just keep releasing the same mediocre figures over and over again, since they know people will buy them anyways. The fact that you have to modify or repair the figure straight out of the box is just laughable at this point.

I ordered mine from TCP and did have a minor chip on mine straight out of the package. Couple things I've did. First I added Scotch tape (three layers) on top of the metal area where the metal on metal would normally touch. The second thing I did was touch up the paint. It's drying now and I got a perfect match.

The paints I used are Testors Enamel paints. Specifically Dark Red and Gloss Magenta. The exact ratio I used was two drops dark red to one drop gloss magenta. I have it curing now. Total out of pocket for this fix was under $4. =)

I think people are misusing the word "chip"
Bare metal showing is not chipping.

So besides my issue with the wheel which I will chalk it up to a fluke, not a widspread issue. It looks as the pin that plugs into wheel was just not pushed in all the way. I do like the figure, he looks great and I like the transformation, I was able to do it from my memory of watching RFC's review. I really like how the arms transform and how the legs collapse. It is cool that the arms do make up the whole side of the vehicle like the animation. Overall I am happy with my purchase as I know my wheel fluke will be fixed whether by me, TCP, or FT.

Before people start bashing me as a FT lover or whatnot. I do not have the chip in the hood. I have no pegging issues, and I am not a super articulation buff. I do not love them blindly or anything. But to me, this is the best MP Hot Rod out there. I will gladly replace him with another 3P should a superior one come along.
