So annoyed that I ordered Wasp and Thor at the same time from Nippon-Yasan. So I have to wait for Thor to come out before I get Wasp.
Seems like they ended the promotion early. Apparently their website was constantly going down, probably from all the people trying to order for free shipping. That is unfortunate. I decided to go Bluefin release for Wasp but ordered Thor from Nippon-Yasan. Luckily Thor is supposed to release at the end of next month so it'll be soon!
Ah, then Falcon is the Web exclusive then (I assumed so since Nippon-Yasan mentioned it being a Limited Edition)? I get them mixed up.
I believe you can split your order but before you do so, make sure the price hasn't gone up or that you didn't use any promotion that would no longer be valid with the split. Otherwise, just wait.
Yeah, you're probably right. I didn't know it was already paid. I have a bunch of orders like that with NY and never worry about it...I just get them when I get them.
If Wasp isn’t exclusive, why is it so expensive compared to other releases? I got Ant-Man on eBay for like $60, but even the few listings there are $95+. At that rate I’d rather keep my BBTS order for $85
Wasp and Falcon were both Tamashii Web exclusives. We just don't have the Bluefin stock of Wasp to offset the secondary market prices yet.
I just ordered the Sheryl Nome figure from Macross. No connection to it, but every time I saw it on various sites it would catch my eye. Figure it'll fit in well enough amongst my Vocaloids and other miscellany.
Nope, Falcon was also brought over stateside despite being a TWE. Any NA retailer can get it it appeared for a while that Bluefin was bringing over every release but they skipped odd ones. rocket from GOTG was not, and infinity war thor was not
Correct Bluefin is about a month and a half behind TWE so people paying above the tamashii japan price are just impatient. Wait for a retailer stateside and you can probably stack stuff for free shipping
AmiAmi just sent out an email to let people know they changed the Captain Marvel headsculpt... It looks to me like they may have ditched the digital face print?? That sucks if they couldn't get Brie's likeness...
I got excited until I read the latter portion of your post. So what are they gonna do instead? I’ll be really bummed if a figure as good as it looks gets ruined by the head. It’ll be like infinity war Captain America again

Seeing pages and pages on MCU Figuarts made me realize that Figuarts are pretty much just American properties and Dragonball at this point,aren't they? Sure, there is the occassional Kamen Rider or Ultraman, but they seem to be one out of every ten figures released now. When was the last time they even showed off a Sailor Moon character? Hell, there hasn't been an Ultraman monster revealed in like 6 months.
Now that I'm not as tired and am looking again... Comparison shared here. Blech. The new hair especially I don't like. But it might still actually be digitally printed looking at the eyes? But nonetheless, not a fan of this one as much as the old one.
