Just noticed something while I was watching. The end scene where Charlie is finally fixing the corvette, It is completely recycled from the previous scene where she fails. They just CG'd a new outfit on her. And the dialouge ''omg yes'' is from when she fixes Bee's radio.

after thinking about it, i think blitzwing was intended to appear in the cancelled ww2 bumblebee movie, i find it strange why they gave a throwaway character the feat of taking bumblebee's voice. another thing i thought was interesting is that blitzwing says "you'll die like your friends screaming", this fight scene apparently wasn't changed from the test screening that started with bee driving away from cena as bumblebee has already been on earth for awhile. the blitzwing fight would probably have been built up in the ww2 movie by having him kill either bee's human or autobot friends as said by blitzwing

I don't think there was a canceled WW2 Bumblebee movie. The WW2 movie was supposed to be about Skyfire (maybe young Jetfire?) Michael Bay did mention that he had an idea for an R rated Bumblebee movie, but we don't know what that was. It could have been WW2, but it was likely never seriously considered.

I actually kind of liked that Bumblebee lost his voice to a random guy. It's kind of like a real-life battle wound. Most soldiers aren't wounded by the enemy leader in an epic showdown, they're wounded by 'some guy' they'll likely never even know the name of. It makes the Autobots feel a bit more vulnerable. I get why other media had Megatron be the one to take Bumblebee's voice, but in my opinion it wasn't needed.

You're right! They probably changed the filter, but it's definitely the same. CGI outfit and it was done in reverse for the end scene.

That's a trick used in animation (where Knight hails from) to cut down animation time and costs. Bay also used it in DOTM when he reused the chase scenes from The Island when the Dreads are chasing Sam and the Autobots on the highway. (Also the scene where the poor girl was permanently disabled and disfigured. Good grief, I hope she's alright. Anyone got an update anywhere??)

It's a little more jarring and noticeable here, now that you guys point it out. I'll be honest, though... He snuck it past me in my first, and only, viewing at the theater, so he pulled it off better than Bay did. lol That said, now that I see it, I'll never be able to unsee it. >_<

During the filming of the highway scene in DOTM, they used extras to drive cars back and forth on the highway for the various takes and to add authenticity to the scene. During one of the takes a cabling system for one of the camera rigs snapped, a tow cable IIRC, and it whipped with horrific force through the woman's windshield and the hood of the car. Part of it ended up going through her face and her skull and then yanked itself back out.

She was a model prior to that and was in countless surgeries and had to go to a specialized rehab. She couldn't talk for the longest time and she had to be retrained to do everyday things. No joke.

On top of that, while filming in DC, the stunt driver driving Bumblebee was T-boned in the fender by an ambulance that was responding to a call on the other side of area, came barreling through the set (didn't know) and smashed the whole front end of the car off, pretty much.

It was an incredibly ridiculous filming that really had some issues.

What's even funnier is that technically...she didn't run. Bumblebee swept her up, and HE ran. Lol.

I didn't know about the first one you mentioned, but the second one, the one that the Bumblebee vehicle had an accident, it collided into a DC police SUV responding to a call.. Not an ambulance..

I stand corrected. Still, just a bad scene all around.

I dont like bayformer movie... however I did go watch Bumble Bee just to see a few second of actual transformer... and why cant we have an actual transformer movie again? the G1 design look miles better than bayformer, I particularly love Arcee's design who look like a mix of G1 Arcee and Prime Arcee.. Soundwave even have cassette bot..

If they make live action War of Cybertron movie with those G1 design, I would watch the hell out of every single one of them.

If this is the couple minutes that you're talking about then I'm glad I watched it at home and saved the rest of my time and money. They got some of it right but I hate how Bee (a Scout) easily takes out 4 Seekers. And keeping this under Bay-verse continuity c-blocks any real potential this franchise could've had if it was a reboot.

Those of us that paid money to see it voted to get the reboot you want, cynically sitting on the side line is not going to make it happen.

Besides the movie was pretty good.

Really? The way I see it, "sitting on the sideline" while TLK flopped is what forced Paramount to give you these two and half minutes of G1. Glad you liked the rest but I'll wait for this to hit Netflix or HBO if I'm bored.

Well I agree, but remember to vote with your wallet. They wont make more of something good if nobody's buying.

The success of Bumble Bee gives us a chance at getting what we really want.

I'd be even more optimistic if Lorenzo was gone.

Why would they give him the boot if you're still paying him?

Did they cut that part where Ravage pops out of Soundwave?
